Overview
FSB-L Fluoroplastic Centrifugal Pump
Product Details

1、 Introduction to FSB-L Fluoroplastic Centrifugal Pump

The FSB-L centrifugal pump is made entirely of fluoroplastic alloy for the overcurrent components, resulting in a compact structure, simple operation, and low cost. The pump body, impeller, and pump cover are made of metal inserts wrapped in fluoroplastic and pressed into shape. The two types of pump casings, impellers, seals, etc. can be interchanged, making them highly popular among users.
The shaft seal of the pump adopts an external PTFE corrugated tube mechanical seal, which has multiple layers of protection and extends the service life of the mechanical seal. When conveying media containing impurity particles, it can be equipped with a single end hard to hard (silicon carbide to silicon carbide) mechanical seal without cooling water. Therefore, when selecting, users need to consider the solid content in the medium.

3、 Characteristics and Applications of FSB-L Fluoroplastic Centrifugal Pump

(1) Characteristics
1. Fluoroplastic centrifugal pumps are suitable for long-term transportation of any concentration of any medium at temperatures ranging from -85 ° C to 120 ° C, including acids, oxidants, and corrosive media. It is prohibited to transport fast hard crystalline media. Fluoroplastic alloy pumps are widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, dye, paint, smelting, papermaking, electroplating, and food.
2. Fluoroplastic centrifugal pumps have strong corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength, with corrosion resistance parameters exceeding those of IH chemical pumps, F · AFB corrosion-resistant pumps, ceramic pumps, and enamel pumps.
3. Fluoroplastic centrifugal pumps have the advantages of reasonable design, compact structure, reliable performance, easy use and maintenance, and energy conservation.
4. The overcurrent part of the fluoroplastic centrifugal pump is entirely made of plastic reinforced alloy compression molding, which has the advantages of strong corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, no aging, and no toxin decomposition.
(2) Purpose:
Fluoroplastic centrifugal pumps are mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry, automotive manufacturing for acid pickling liquids, painting processes, electrolyte transportation in non-ferrous metal smelting, as well as chlorine water, wastewater treatment, and acid addition processes in ion membrane caustic soda projects.

4、 Installation and disassembly of FSB-L fluoroplastic centrifugal pump

(1) Assembly of FSB-L Fluoroplastic Centrifugal Pump:
1. Install the dynamic ring, static ring, rear cover, impeller, pump, and other sealing components onto the Kunming screws in the reverse order of disassembly.
2. Assemble the back cover with the static ring cover and tighten the bolt 50FSB-20L fluoroplastic centrifugal pump. Clean the static ring end face with a soft cleaning cloth and apply lubricating oil.
3. When installing the pump body, check the bolt threads to prevent tightening and damaging the threads inside the pump body, and check whether the impeller position is aligned with the flow channel.
4. Install the exit flange ring.
(2) Dismantling of FSB-L Fluoroplastic Centrifugal Pump:
1. The pump is connected to the motor using a claw type coupling. When disassembling, first loosen the four connecting bolts between the bracket and the base. Disconnect the pump from the motor.
2. Loosen the connecting bolts of the pump body back cover. Gently tap the pump body with a wooden handle to detach it.
3. Loosen the suspension bolts connecting the impeller shaft and pump shaft with a Mohs taper in the coupling.
4. Loosen the mechanical seal and do not fix the screws. Use a wooden hammer to lightly tap the central suspension bolt of the coupling. After loosening the Mohs taper of the impeller shaft and pump shaft, pull out the impeller, rear cover, and sealing ring. Loosen the cover screw on the back cover and remove the static damage.
5. Loosen the left and right cover screws of the pump shaft, remove the pump shaft, bearings, and clean the bracket oil chamber.

5、 Installation and precautions of FSB-L fluoroplastic centrifugal pump

1. Before installation, the pump and motor should be inspected to ensure that all parts are intact and free of debris inside the pump.
2. Place the pump in a horizontal position, connect the inlet and outlet pipes, and connect the power supply. Then, manually rotate the coupling to check for any rubbing. If the rotation is easy and even, the installation is complete.
3. Plastic alloy pumps have lower rigidity than metals, so the weight of the pipeline cannot be directly pressed on the pump body. Additional brackets should be added to support the inlet and outlet pipelines. Pumps with high head should also be equipped with check valves at the outlet to prevent water hammer damage caused by sudden shutdown.
4. All joints must be sealed to prevent air leakage and liquid from affecting the pump's performance.
5. If vibration or abnormal sound is found during operation, the vehicle should be stopped immediately to check the cause, and only after troubleshooting can it be put into operation.
