1、 Introduction to corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant slurry pump
The UHB-ZK series corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant pump belongs to a single-stage single suction cantilever centrifugal pump, and the overcurrent components are made of steel lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. This material is currently the new generation of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant engineering plastics for pumps internationally. Its outstanding advantages are excellent wear resistance, impact resistance, creep resistance, and good corrosion resistance among all plastics.
2、 Working principle of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant slurry pump
1. The principle of long sealing life
When the pump is running, the centrifugal effect of the back blades of the impeller reduces the pressure in the sealed box cavity to a negative pressure state. Under the suction effect of negative pressure, the spherical elastic ring expands radially, and the axial contraction acts on the top thrust of the static ring, reducing the specific pressure between the dynamic and static rings. It operates in a negative pressure contact state with little friction.
There is very little wear and tear, so the sealing life is relatively long, while other machine seals pushed by steel wire springs cannot achieve this effect. If the spring compression force is low, the fluid will leak out when the pressure inside the pump increases. When the spring pressure increases, it can prevent the leakage of high-pressure fluid, but it increases the friction between the dynamic and static rings, thereby shortening the service life.
2. The principle of no leakage during startup
It is an internally installed mechanical seal, and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the moving ring is opposite to the direction of liquid leakage. The liquid is repelled by the centrifugal force of the moving ring and cannot leak out. In addition, the fluid in the sealing area is a negative pressure zone, and the liquid will not leak out.
3. The principle of no leakage when parking
When parking, the impeller stops rotating, the function of the back blades is lost, and the fluid in the sealed box of the pump chamber is converted from negative pressure to normal or high pressure. The liquid pressure exerts a pressure gathering effect on the outer spherical surface of the spherical elastic body, causing the sphere to contract radially and elongate axially, increasing the pressure on the pushing ring and preventing liquid leakage, achieving the goal of no leakage during parking.
3、 Applicable performance of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant slurry pump
1. Structural features: Steel lined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) or polypropylene (PP) or PO (lining layer 10-20mm).
2. Sealing forms: one is self balancing mechanical seal, the other is containerized mechanical seal, and the third is K-type power seal. Users have the option to choose and can switch between configurations.
3. Specification parameters: 32~600mm, flow rate of 10~5000m3/h, head within 60m, user selectable.
4、 Application range of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant slurry pump
Capable of adapting to various working conditions, such as conveying acid, alkaline clear liquids or slurries, various corrosive slurries in the smelting industry, various dilute acids in the sulfuric acid industry, and various types of wastewater in the environmental protection industry. This pump is both corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant, and has a wide range of applications.
Applicable media: sulfuric acid with a concentration of less than 80% and nitric acid with a concentration of less than 50%, as well as various concentrations of hydrochloric acid and liquid alkali, suitable not only for clear liquids but also for slurries. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ to 80 ℃. For some special requirements and modified materials, it can be increased to 105 ℃. Its pump impeller is semi open and the seal adopts K-type power seal.
5、 Daily maintenance of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant slurry pump
Equipment must be prepared for maintenance and upkeep before being put into operation
1. Develop maintenance procedures for equipment.
2. Prepare and fill in lubrication cards for equipment, and draw lubrication charts.
3. Provide technical training to employees, guiding them to learn about the structure, performance, maintenance, and safe operation of equipment. And theoretical and operational technical assessments must be conducted, and only those who pass can operate the equipment.
4. Prepare necessary maintenance tools, equipment, and lubricants that meet the requirements.
5. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the installation, accuracy, performance, safety devices, control, and reporting of the equipment, and count and verify all accessories. Only when everything is ready can the equipment be used.
