Installation and use instructions for PVC-U water supply pipe fittings

1. PVC pipe cutting: After measuring the appropriate length according to the usage requirements, the required pipe can be manually cut or machine cut. When cutting, the two sections should be kept vertical and flat, and burrs and sharp edges should be removed with a file, but the chamfer should not be too large.
2. Adhesive bonding of pipes and fittings: Before bonding, a trial assembly must be carried out to determine the installation position and make marks. The length of the inserted pipe end (socket depth+10mm) and the inner wall of the socket should be cleaned, and then cotton yarn dipped in acetone should be used to scrub. After the acetone evaporates, the adhesive should be evenly applied to the outside of the pipe end and the inside of the socket. It should not be too thick, but not missed. Insert after coating and rotate to the desired combination angle for installation,
Insert all the pipes into the socket, fix them on their own after about 2 to 3 minutes, and wipe off any excess adhesive overflowing from the bonding area to keep the pipes clean. At this time, it is important to avoid forcibly opening or turning the direction, otherwise it may cause leakage. Adhesive components should not be subjected to external forces within 1 hour, and water should not be allowed to flow within 24 hours. The test can only be conducted after the curing time is completed.
3. Reliable sealing must be ensured during pipeline installation to prevent leakage during use. And install fixing devices (pipe clamps) every 1.5m to 2.0m
4. Due to the certain plasticity of plastic pipes, brackets or hangers should be installed every 0.6m during the installation of horizontal pipes to prevent deformation of the plastic pipes and affect their use.
5. The water supply pipeline should be kept away from the heat source, and the clear distance between the riser and the stove edge should not be less than 400mm, and the clear distance from the heating pipe should not be less than 200mm.
6. After construction, the pipe can only be covered with soil and sealed after passing the pressure test.
