First look, then measure. Tools: multimeter, magnifying glass. When holding a circuit board of an injection molding machine to be repaired, a good habit is to first visually inspect it, and if necessary, use a magnifying glass. What should we look at?

Mainly looking at: 1. whether there is a wire break; 2. Discrete components such as resistors, electrolytic capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, etc. may experience disconnection; 3. Is there any breakage, adhesion, or other issues with the printed circuit board connection wires on the injection molding machine circuit board; 4. Has anyone ever repaired it? What components have been touched? Are there any operational errors such as virtual soldering, solder leakage, or reverse insertion; After confirming that the repaired part does not have the above conditions, first use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the power supply and ground of the injection molding machine circuit board. If the resistance is too small, only a few or a dozen ohms, it indicates that there are components on the injection molding machine circuit board that have been broken down or partially broken down, and measures must be taken to find the broken components. The specific method is to supply power to the repaired circuit board and touch the temperature of each component on the injection molding machine circuit board with your hands. Those who are hot will be the focus of suspicion. If the resistance is normal, use a multimeter to measure the resistors, diodes, transistors, field-effect transistors, toggle switches, and other standing components on the board. The purpose is to first ensure that the measured components are normal. Our reason is that problems that can be solved with a multimeter should not be complicated.
