Overview
Polyurethane knife gate valves achieve medium cutoff by rotating or lifting the valve plate. The design adopts a full bore structure, and the valve plate can be fully retracted into the valve chamber after opening, avoiding direct contact with the medium and reducing wear. Polyurethane material provides acid and alkali resistance, as well as anti erosion properties. At the same time, the valve plate and seat form a hard sealing structure, ensuring zero leakage sealing performance.

Wear resistant and corrosion-resistant: The polyurethane lining can resist particle media erosion and acid-base corrosion, with a lifespan far exceeding that of ordinary metal valves.

Full bore zero leakage: After the valve plate is opened, the medium flow is unobstructed, and when it is closed, bi-directional zero leakage is achieved through forced sealing.

Self cleaning and anti blocking: When the valve plate is closed, the edge changes the flow direction of the medium, forming a vortex to flush the valve seat and prevent solid particles from depositing and blocking.

Modular replaceable: Valve liners, valve plates and other vulnerable parts are designed as a whole, supporting quick on-site replacement and reducing maintenance costs.

Flexible driving mode: supports multiple driving modes such as manual, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc., to adapt to different working conditions.

Polyurethane knife gate valveworking principle

Opening process: The driving mechanism (such as a cylinder or electric actuator) drives the valve plate to rotate or lift, and the valve plate is fully retracted into the valve chamber. The medium flows through the full diameter channel.

Closing process: The valve plate is pressed against the valve seat by the driving mechanism, and the polyurethane valve liner forms a hard seal with the stainless steel valve plate. At the same time, the edge of the valve plate changes the flow direction of the medium, causing the slurry vortex to flush the bottom of the valve seat, ensuring a non blocking seal.

Self grinding mechanism: During the opening and closing process of the valve plate, the tangential friction force difference causes it to rotate slightly, achieving automatic grinding and polishing of the sealing surface and maintaining long-term sealing performance.
