Three leaf Roots vacuum pumpOverview

The Roots vacuum pump has two three bladed rotors, which are driven by a pair of synchronous reverse rotating high-precision gears. The figure on the right shows the rotors rotating 120 ° inside the pump chamber to complete a suction and exhaust process. The three bladed rotor adopts a gradually opening line shape, which does not contact each other and maintains a constant gap during rotation. It can be matched with various front-end pumps, using air or water cooling methods and multiple sealing forms to meet different process and working condition requirements.

Compared to traditional two blade Roots pumps, it has significant technical advantages in key performance indicators such as pumping efficiency, large allowable pressure difference, temperature rise, vibration, and noise. The three bladed rotor adopts high-precision gear transmission and precision bearing support, with low noise and smoother operation, and still has a high pumping rate under low inlet pressure.

Main Features

High speed, high volume ratio, low temperature rise, and low vibration.

Simple structure, good reliability, easy operation and maintenance.

The rotor is locked tightly, with no axial movement and a lower failure rate.

All flat static seals adopt O-ring seals, which can be repeatedly disassembled and assembled.

The main shaft adopts mechanical seal to ensure that the pump chamber is free of oil and long-term leakage.

The end cap seal can adopt various forms such as mechanical seal, skeleton, piston ring, and labyrinth seal.

Scope of application

San Ye cannot be used alone and must be used in conjunction with a front-end vacuum pump. After configuring different types of front-end pumps, various performance indicators may vary. Mainly used in vacuum systems that require high pumping speed and coarse/medium vacuum (103~10-2Pa), such as vacuum coating, vacuum welding furnaces, vacuum heat treatment furnaces, large-scale space simulation experiments, microelectronics and integrated circuits, lamp and light bulb manufacturing, vacuum packaging, centralized pumping systems, various chemical treatments, vacuum degassing, vacuum dehydration, vacuum freeze-drying, and vacuum distillation.

Note: The above performance indicators are obtained under the conditions of using the recommended front-end pump. If different front-end pumps are selected according to the situation, their main performance indicators may vary. The pumping rate refers to the maximum pumping rate measured within the range of 67pa~2.67pa at the inlet pressure when using the recommended front-end pump. (See performance curve) The ultimate pressure refers to the lowest value of the stable air partial pressure measured at the pump inlet by a compression vacuum gauge after sufficient pumping, without any additional containers, with a sealed pump port and no air intake, under the conditions of using the recommended front-end pump.
