Wear resistant ceramic check valve (also known as ceramic one-way valve or check valve) is an automatic valve made of structural ceramic materials. The core components (such as valve disc and sealing surface) are made of alumina ceramic or silicon carbide ceramic, and the valve body is usually made of stainless steel or carbon steel material. Its design purpose is to prevent medium backflow in the pipeline and ensure unidirectional fluid flow. According to the structure, it can be divided into three types: lifting type, swing type, and butterfly type. The connection methods cover various forms such as flanges, welding, and clamping, and the driving method is automatic (relying on medium pressure to open and close).

Strong corrosion resistance: Ceramic materials have high chemical stability and can withstand corrosive media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and high salts, avoiding the problem of easy corrosion of metal valves.

Excellent wear resistance: Ceramics have high hardness (second only to diamond), can resist the erosion of media containing solid particles, and extend their service life.

Good high temperature resistance: It can work stably in high temperature environments and is suitable for high-temperature steam or heat medium pipelines.

Reliable sealing performance: The ceramic sealing surface has high flatness and low friction coefficient, achieving zero leakage sealing and preventing medium backflow.

Low flow resistance: The streamlined channel design reduces fluid resistance, minimizes pressure loss, and improves system efficiency.

Strong resistance to water hammer: The rotary opening structure can be equipped with a buffer device to reduce the damage to the valve caused by water hammer impact when the pump is stopped.

Power industry: boiler feedwater system, desulfurization slurry circulation pump outlet, ash discharge system, and equipment to prevent medium backflow protection.

Chemical industry: transportation of strong acid and alkali media, treatment of high salt wastewater, to avoid leakage of corrosive media.

Petroleum and natural gas: transportation of sulfur-containing crude oil, gathering and transportation of acidic gas fields, and resistance to corrosive gases such as hydrogen sulfide.

Mining field: slurry conveying pipelines, tailings treatment systems, processing high hardness granular media.

Desalination of seawater: high-pressure reverse osmosis system, seawater pretreatment, resistant to seawater corrosion.

Textile and papermaking: textile wastewater treatment, pulp conveying system, to prevent sewage or pulp backflow.

Precautions for use

Installation direction: Ensure that the arrow direction of the valve body is consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and avoid reverse installation that may cause seal failure.

Pipeline support: Large valves require independent support to prevent valve body deformation caused by pipeline stress.

Medium cleaning: Rinse the pipeline before installation to avoid damage to the ceramic sealing surface from welding slag and particles.

Operation specification: It is prohibited to use a pull rod to forcibly open and close the valve, in order to avoid damaging the sealing surface; Observe the valve status during opening and closing, and immediately stop the machine for inspection if any abnormalities are found.

Temperature control: To avoid the valve being subjected to special temperature changes, expansion joints should be added before and after the valve if necessary.

Regular maintenance: Check the wear of the sealing surface every 6 months, lubricate and maintain the rotating shaft annually, and regularly flush the valve chamber to prevent particle accumulation.
