Fischer Fischer Ferrite Analyzer FERITSCOPE DMP30Product Information

Fischer Company has developed professional measuring equipment for detecting the ferrite content in austenitic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel in steel materials. It is widely used in industries such as steel smelting, machinery manufacturing, pressure pipeline installation, and food and chemical equipment production that strictly control the ferrite content of materials. It provides key data support for material quality evaluation, product performance optimization, and process control by accurately measuring the ferrite content, and is an important testing tool to ensure product quality and safety.

Working principle of the Fischer ferrite analyzer FERITSCOPE DMP30

The Fischer ferrite measuring instrument is based on the principle of magnetic permeability measurement. Austenitic stainless steel is usually non-magnetic, while ferrite has magnetism. When the probe of the measuring instrument contacts the surface of the material being measured, it generates a magnetic field. Due to the presence of ferrite, the magnetic field changes, and the measuring instrument can capture this change and convert it into a numerical value of ferrite content through a built-in algorithm. This measurement process is fast and non-destructive, enabling accurate determination of ferrite content on the surface of materials and within a certain depth. Some models also support measuring the content of ferrite phases in different microstructures, providing more comprehensive data for material analysis.
