TBBCI1-800K420It is a snap on high current injection probe that expands our affordable EMC pre-test product range

According to the ISO11452-4 standard, BCI probes are mainly used for anti-interference testing of automotive products in the frequency range of 1MHz to 400MHz. For most of its bandwidth, the insertion loss is 5dB. In the frequency range of 250 kHz to 230 MHz, it complies with the insertion loss specification of ISO11452-4. This probe has individual characteristics and can be used in the frequency range of 10 kHz to 450 MHz. The TBBCI1-800K420 current injection probe can be used to inject severity levels I (60mA), II (100mA), III (150mA), IV (200mA), and customer specific severity level V, up to 350mA.

TBBCI-800K420The injected current probe has a space of 27mm, a typical insertion loss of 5dB, and a typical transmission impedance of 26dB


This probe can also be used for RF current monitoring applications.

Insertion loss and transmission impedance meter

The following table shows the typical insertion loss and transmission impedance data of TBBCI1-800K420 BCI probe. Each current probe comes with a corresponding measurement protocol. These data can be used to calculate the power required for immunity testing, or to create calibration files for EMCview or similar EMC measurement software. Subtract the transmission impedance in dB Ω from the analyzer reading in dB μ V to obtain the corrected reading in dB μ A.
