1： PVC-U pipe product introduction:

PVC-U pipes and fittings for water supply are made of polymer material - polyvinyl chloride as the main material, with high-performance processing aids added. They are a fully plastic product formed by high-speed extrusion. Compared with traditional pipes, they have the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, low water flow resistance, energy saving, fast installation, and low cost. During the processing and molding process, excellent heat stabilizers are added to ensure the hygiene performance of the pipes. It is widely used in various pipelines such as municipal buried water supply and drainage, building water supply and drainage, township water supply, agricultural irrigation and drainage, power, communication, chemical anti-corrosion, and transportation of other media.

2： PVC-U product characteristics:

1. Lightweight and easy to handle: PVC pipes are lightweight, weighing only 1/6 of cast iron pipes, making them easy to handle, load, unload, and construct. The transportation and installation costs are low, and the total project cost is 30% cheaper than cast iron pipes;

2. Excellent chemical resistance: It has good acid resistance, alkali resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, good electrical corrosion resistance, and will not cause pitting corrosion during use;

3. Low fluid resistance: The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, without scaling, and the head loss along the same diameter pipe is more than 30% lower than that of cast iron pipe, making transportation faster;

4. High mechanical strength: The tensile strength of the pipe can reach over 45Mpa, with high water pressure resistance, external pressure resistance, and impact resistance, making it suitable for various piping projects;

5. Excellent electrical insulation: It has superior electrical insulation and is suitable for wires, cable conduits, and building wire piping;

3： PVC-U pipe connection method:

1. Solvent bonding connection method:

(1) Wipe the inner wall of the pipe fitting socket and both ends of the straight pipe clean, without leaving any moisture or oil stains;

(2) Measure the length of the straight pipe that should be inserted into the fitting socket and mark it on the straight pipe;

(3) Insert the installation tools (medium and large diameter), such as tensioners, into the straight pipes, prepare them, and then evenly apply a thin layer of adhesive on the inner wall of the pipe socket and the insertion part of the straight pipe. When the adhesive is fully evaporated and the adhesion is enhanced, insert it forcefully. Rotate the small diameter pipe by 90 °, and the installation tools can be used for medium and large diameters;

(4) After insertion, it should be maintained for about 15 minutes before moving.

After the pipeline installation is completed, it takes 48 hours to conduct a water pressure test. The distance between the pressure test pipeline should be between 400m-500m.

2. Construction method of live casing:

(1) Clean the inner wall of the expansion tube and the outer wall of the insertion part of the straight tube;

(2) Wipe the rubber ring and the groove of the sleeve clean, rotate the rubber ring and place it in the groove at the expanded end (the end of the rubber ring with a slope should face outward), and the inserted straight pipe end should have a 30 ° chamfer for smooth insertion;

(3) Mark the insertion length at the end of the pipe and reserve a certain gap. Apply lubricant to the insertion part and the inner surface of the ring;

(4) Align the insertion end of the straight pipe with the expansion end and insert it. Use an installation tool to insert the straight pipe into the marked line;

(5) After the fitting is completed, use a thin sheet to test whether the rubber ring is flipped over.
