1: Introduction to PVC-M pipes:
High impact resistant pipeline (PVC-M) absorbs advanced technology from abroad, while maintaining the high strength characteristics of PVC material, and through physical modification, enhances the material's ductility and crack resistance, with better toughness and high pressure bearing capacity. It can be widely used in water transmission and distribution networks, industrial production pipelines, industrial sewage, urban and rural drainage, and irrigation systems. The PVC-M pipes produced by Jinwoquan Company adopt lead-free formula. The products have been tested by authoritative institutions such as plastic product quality supervision and inspection, and Shandong health monitoring, and meet the requirements of relevant national and enterprise standards, reaching the advanced level in China.
2: PVC-M product characteristics:
1. Lightweight and easy to handle: PVC-M has a density of 1.35-1.46kg/m3, making it convenient for handling, loading, unloading, and construction, which can save construction costs;
2. Excellent toughness and impact resistance: Compared with ordinary PVC-U pipes of the same specification, the impact resistance is significantly improved, which can more effectively resist point loads and uneven settlement of the foundation;
3. Low fluid resistance and strong chemical corrosion resistance: PVC-M pipes have very smooth pipe walls and low fluid resistance, with excellent acid, alkali, and corrosion resistance. They are very suitable for applications in the chemical industry, wastewater drainage, sanitary sewers, etc;
4. It does not affect water quality and has good water tightness: the joint of PVC-M pipes, whether using loose fitting or TS joint, has good water tightness. Although it has been a water pressure supply pipe for many years, there is no risk of water leakage;
5. Easy construction and improved adaptability to the construction environment: PVC-M high impact resistant water supply pipes have superior impact resistance and good toughness, which can effectively adapt to the construction environment. The construction is fast and easy, so the construction cost is low.
3: PVC-M pipe connection method:
1. Storage and transportation:
(1) During transportation, pipes must not be exposed to sunlight, contaminated, heavily pressed, or damaged;
(2) The pipes should be stacked reasonably, away from heat sources, and the expansion ports should be staggered to avoid compression deformation. The stacking height of pipes fixed with wooden strips is two meters. When stored outdoors, it must be covered to prevent exposure to sunlight.
2. Advantages of construction and operation process:
(1) Improving transportation reliability: PVC-M pipes have improved toughness and can effectively resist external impacts during transportation, handling, and construction, reducing risks. Minor scratches accidentally caused on the surface of the pipe will not affect its use;
(2) Improve the adaptability of the construction environment: PVC-M pipes have superior impact resistance and good toughness, which can effectively reduce the impact of local point loads on the pipes during construction and the damage to the pipes caused by uneven settlement of the foundation, thus better adapting to the construction environment;
(3) Improving the hydraulic performance of pipeline systems: PVC-M pipelines can effectively absorb the impact energy caused by water pressure fluctuations, enhance the pipeline's ability to resist water hammer, thereby reducing operational risks, improving water supply efficiency, and reducing operating costs;
(4) PVC-M pipes with high strength and toughness are connected using rubber rings and solvent bonding, and the installation steps and methods are the same as those for ordinary PVC-U pipes;
(5) Compared with PE pipelines, it has a faster construction speed and lower requirements for the construction environment, especially in rainy areas in the south, which has more construction advantages.
3. Main adhesion methods:
(1) Adhesive bonding connection: It is recommended to use adhesive bonding connection method for DN50mm-DN200mm pipes.
(2) Elastic sealing ring connection: It is recommended to use elastic sealing ring connection method for DN63mm-DN800mm pipes.
