1、 Mask meltblown non-woven fabric extruder Purpose:
Special extruder for meltblown fabric, meltblown fabric is a renamed PP material with a melt index of 1500 and very good fluidity, so it can spray silk and is mainly suitable for the production of meltblown fabric.
The melt blown process is a type of polymer extrusion nonwoven process, typically produced using a single screw production line. Melt blown method is the use of high-speed hot air to stretch the fine stream of polymer melt extruded from the nozzle holes of the die, thereby forming ultrafine fibers and condensing them on a mesh curtain or drum. In theory, all thermoplastic polymer particles can be used in melt blown processes. Among them, PP polypropylene is the most commonly used particle in the melt blown process. In addition, commonly used melt blown processes include polyester, polyethylene, PBT, EMA, and so on. The type of polymer determines its melting point and rheological properties, as well as the corresponding melt spraying process. Moisture absorbing materials such as polyester ABS, PC, etc. will absorb water and hydrolyze, so a drying hopper must be used. Polyolefins such as PE and PP are non hygroscopic plastics, and there is no need to use a drying hopper when the product itself is not affected by moisture.
Nowadays, PP (polypropylene) high melting point melt blown fabric, as the filtering core layer of masks, has become an extremely scarce material during the epidemic. 4、 Structure description of mask meltblown non-woven fabric extruder:
Melt blown nonwoven fabric was first successfully developed in the United States in the 1950s, and China also conducted research in the early 1960s. It is a high-tech product made by directly spinning high melt index polypropylene slices into fabric. At present, the annual production in the United States is about 150000 tons, while the annual production in China is 5000 tons.
The production process of meltblown nonwoven fabric is as follows: polypropylene slices (FR400-1200) are melted by a screw extruder, and then sprayed into fibrous form through a spinning hole. Under the high-speed (13000m/min) hot air flow, they are strongly stretched to form extremely fine short fibers. These short fibers are adsorbed on the mesh curtain, and because the fibers can still maintain a high temperature after agglomeration into a mesh, they adhere to each other to form meltblown nonwoven fabric, which is finally rolled and packaged.
