In order to solve this problem, the SHL series cooling mixer has emerged.
This series of cooling mixers is usually used in conjunction with SHR high-speed mixers and can be widely used in various plastic mixing, drying, coloring and other processes. The cooling mixer can quickly cool the materials that have completed the hot mixing process to eliminate residual gases that are not conducive to production in the hot mixed materials, facilitating the storage, transportation, and subsequent processing of the materials.

Working Principle:
The motor of the cooling mixer is driven by a triangular belt through a reducer, causing the stirring blades inside the mixing pot to rotate at a low speed. Make a sandwich layer on the outer wall of the mixing pot and install a cooling water ring according to the flow guide layer or inside the mixing pot, and then circulate water in the water-cooled structure. Quickly reduce the temperature of the material while it is being stirred by different blades.

The difference between SHL series cooling mixer and high-speed mixer:
There are many similarities in the structure between the two mixers, but there are still many differences in the details
The cooling mixer requires the joint action of a reducer and a pulley to reduce the speed of the mixing shaft. Due to the low rotational speed and the need to improve cooling efficiency, there is no need to consider the possibility of the material churning up and down due to intense stirring and increasing the contact area between the material and the cooling device. The entire mixing pot usually uses a large-diameter, low depth cylindrical barrel form.
The mixing requirements are not high, so the blade structure is simple.
No heating function is required.
Due to the process flow, in order to transport materials quickly, low-speed mixers are generally installed below the discharge device of high-speed mixers, with a compact structure.
