Overview

The TD-2 thermal expansion sensor has a large field of view for on-site indication. It uses an intermediate frequency displacement sensor as the sensing element, which has good linearity for remote indication, strong anti-interference ability, good reliability, and can be used continuously. The output is a standard current signal or voltage signal, which is compatible with it

Product Details

The TD-2 thermal expansion sensor is mainly used to measure the expansion displacement of steam turbine cylinders. When combined with a thermal expansion monitoring instrument, it can achieve remote indication, alarm, constant current output and other functions of thermal expansion displacement. The on-site indication has a large field of view, while the remote indication is displayed digitally, which is clear and intuitive. Using an intermediate frequency differential transformer displacement sensor as the sensing element, it is a highly reliable LVDT displacement sensor with strong resistance, good linearity, simple structure, and is not easily damaged, and can be used continuously.

A vibration velocity sensor utilizes the principle of magneto electric induction to convert vibration signals into electrical signals. It mainly consists of a magnetic circuit system, coil components, spring damping, and other parts. Two coil components are rigidly fixed in the sensor housing, and magnetic steel is suspended from the housing by springs. When the sensor operates within the working frequency range, the coil and magnetic steel produce relative motion, and the coil cuts the magnetic field lines, generating induced electromotive force (induced voltage), which is proportional to the vibration speed of the casing. The temperature measurement of a temperature sensor utilizes the linear variation of platinum resistance with temperature to measure temperature.

1. Connect the calibrated acceleration sensor to the input of the charge amplifier; Please refer to the user manual of the charge amplifier for the setup of connecting the voltage output terminal of the charge amplifier to the voltmeter.

2. The frequency selection is "80Hz".

When calibrating sensors, the frequency should generally be set at 80Hz.

The frequency can also be placed at other frequency positions to calibrate the sensor.

3. Select the "Function Selection" switch to the "Acceleration" position.

4. Adjust the "output voltage" to the minimum, and adjust the "output voltage" to make the output amplitude of the "vibration acceleration" of the calibrator 10 (m/S2). At this point, the display window shows 10.0m/S2.

5. A digital voltmeter measures the output voltage of a charge amplifier.

6. The error of the measured sensor can be calculated based on the output voltage (measured value) of the charge amplifier and the standard voltage value of the charge amplifier at an acceleration of 10m/S2.

*The standard value is determined by the setting of the charge amplifier. If the acceleration is 10m/S2 and the output voltage of the charge amplifier is set to 1V (peak), the effective value is 707.00mV.
