With the development of space technology, the simulation of outer space sunlight has become a crucial part of the advancement of space technology. According to the ASTM specification, the AM0 standard spectrum is defined, and the simulated light source used in space has the following characteristics:


(1) Compliant with ASTM AM0 standard spectrum (ASTM E927-10);

(2) Light intensity reaches 1366W/m2

(3) The average light is 2%.


Guangyan Technology uses xenon short arc lamps as broadband light sources. The color temperature of xenon lamp is 6000K, which is close to natural sunlight (5500K). The SS-ZXR solar simulator not only uses optical simulation software to simulate the design of optical mechanical systems, but also utilizes Fourier optics technology to generate spatially uniform irradiance.


The SS-ZXR solar simulator, with its AM0 filter made using excellent plasma deposition technology, has high spectral accuracy and a long service life. The better spectral level makes SS-ZXR more suitable than any other simulator for characterizing solar cells used in space.
