The working principle of this device is to measure the strength of activated carbon by simulating the friction and impact it experiences during actual use. During testing, a certain amount of activated carbon sample is placed in a drum together with a steel ball. After starting the instrument, the drum begins to rotate, and the sample undergoes mechanical motion with the steel ball inside the drum, resulting in friction and impact. After the prescribed time, take out the tested activated carbon sample and sieve it through a test sieve to measure its particle size changes. Finally, the strength data of activated carbon is obtained by calculating the fraction of the sample mass retained on the test sieve to the original sample mass.
