Product Details

A bottle preform mold with a diameter of 72 PCO1810 is specially designed for carbonated beverages, using a needle valve balanced hot runner system to ensure a beautiful and wire free gate. The convex shaft design for demolding the preform reduces the maintenance time of the mold.

The weight of the PET preform is 25 grams, and the mold is used in conjunction with Mag's injection molding system. The production cycle of a typical PET screw injection molding machine is 32 seconds. The production cycle of the injection molding machine with a dual injection molding system and an external cooling system at 3 workstations is 17 seconds.

The shape of the preform is optimized and stretched according to the final plastic bottle sample to ensure the quality of the final plastic bottle molding. The main components of the mold, including the core, cavity, and screw mouth, are made of German imported steel 2316. The main parts are designed with double taper self-locking, and the normal service life of the mold can reach 3 million mold cycles. Optimize the design of the cooling system to reduce the cycle forming time of the mold. At the same time, the unique hot runner design of Meige Machinery ensures that each cavity has the same injection pressure and PET flow ratio. For some standard caliber preforms, Meige provides hot runner preform molds ranging from one cavity to ninety-six cavities. We also provide maintenance and refurbishment services for injection molds produced by companies such as HUSKY, MHT, KTW, Otto, as well as weight modification for bottle preforms.

Characteristics of preform molds

Materials for preform molds

(1) The main components of the mold are made of imported DIN 2316 materials.

(2) The mold frame material adopts P20 material or 50 steel electroplating treatment, which improves the corrosion resistance of the mold and extends its service life.

(3) The heat treatment of the parts adopts imported vacuum furnace treatment, and the hardness of the parts is guaranteed to be between HRC45 ° -52 °.

Advanced processing equipment

The company has processing equipment imported from the United States and Japan, such as machining centers, CNC lathes, EDM, etc., which ensures the processing accuracy of parts and makes the parts have good interchangeability. The product eccentricity value is ≤ 0.10mm (the preform length is within 100), and the weight error is less than 0.3g. The cycle time of 30/25 preforms with 24 cavities and 16g is 18 seconds, and the service life can reach 3 million mold times.

In order to ensure the quality of Mag preform molds, the company is equipped with projectors for checking preform dimensions, hardness testers for mold parts, and professional testing equipment such as stress detectors, eccentricity detectors, and high-precision electronic scales for preform injection molding.
