1、 Overview ALT-NDJSludge concentration meter
The principle of turbidity measurement by scattering method: The instrument emits high-intensity monochromatic light, and the light beam passes through the water sample and encounters small particles in the water, generating scattered light. The turbidity of the water sample (low turbidity) is calculated by measuring the intensity of the scattered light perpendicular to the direction of the light beam.
The principle of transmission turbidity measurement: The instrument emits monochromatic light, and the light beam passes through the water sample and encounters small particles in the water, causing scattered light and attenuation. The transmitted light intensity and light intensity attenuation rate are calculated to measure the turbidity of the water sample (high turbidity).
2、 Equipment Features ALT-NDJSludge concentration meter
Intelligence: Using a single-chip microprocessor to complete turbidity measurement, temperature measurement, and compensation;
Human computer dialogue: menu operation structure, users can operate according to the prompts on the screen;
Multi parameter display on the same screen: simultaneously display measurement values, temperature values, and working status;
Software setting output mode: 4-20mA or 20-4mA output;
The measurement range and alarm upper and lower limits can be freely set;
Two sets of relay control switches with adjustable control range;
Self set password: Users can set or modify their own password to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering and causing misoperation;

4、 Installation and electrical connection
The instrument should be installed in a clean, dry, well ventilated, and vibration free place. There should be a certain amount of space around,
For the convenience of instrument operation and maintenance, it should be as close as possible to the sampling point for electrical connection. Instrumentation and Transmission
The distance between sensors should not be too far to facilitate calibration operations.
4.1 Instrument installation

4.2 Common Sensor Installation Methods

4.2.1 Submerged installation

Instructions: Thread the cable through the protective sleeve and connect the sensor thread to the protective sleeve thread (using waterproof tape for waterproofing treatment). The connection between the two protective sleeves must be waterproof to prevent solution from penetrating into the protective sleeve and corroding the cable. Fix the protective sleeve on the fixed bracket, and cover the top of the protective sleeve with a black waterproof rubber cap to prevent rainwater from entering the protective sleeve from the top.
4.2.2 Flange installation:
Customize flange installation according to user needs. Please apply for the option manual from our company for detailed process connections and insertion depth.
4.2.3 Other methods:
If no suitable installation method is found above, please contact the manufacturer to customize a special installation method.
4.3 Instrument wiring connection:

SS/MLSS sensor input; +12V connected to red wire GND connected to black (thicker shielding layer) A connected to green B connected to yellow
4.4 Electrical Connections
Connection between instruments and sensors: The connection between the power supply, output signal, relay alarm contacts, and the instrument base plate. The length of the cable leads fixed to the sensor is usually 5-10 meters, and there are numbered inserts at the terminals. Simply insert them into the terminals with the same numerical symbol on the instrument top plate and tighten them.
