BlockSim™Intended to meet the training needs in the field of ultrasound-guided anesthesia, allowing visualization of anatomical structures in the area of interest, providing information on needle access to the target, and testing the user's ability to recognize structures This simulator allows visualization as the needle tip passes through tissue, confirming alignment with the desired path and continuous visualization of local anesthetic solution delivery to optimize the distribution of local anesthetics.

The simulator is equipped with three highly realistic and durable tissue inserts, including traditional anatomical landmarks and fascial layers, providing users with precise tactile feedback and a typical fascial "popping" sensation when inserting needles.

BlockSim™Composed of a lightweight, compact, and easy to store black box equipped with high fidelity sensors that allow for the localization of necessary tissue inserts based on the requirements of the selected clinical case. The black box is also connected to a simulated linear ultrasound probe and a real area anesthesia single shot needle, which can move freely in different directions, allowing users to investigate the target and select the appropriate entry plane for the needle. It also allows for simulating the injection of local anesthetics driven by real syringes and visualizing the delivery of local anesthetic solutions to ensure correct distribution.

Using BlockSim ™ Software allows users to practice and develop their abilities using simulated scenarios based on real clinical images. The 9 different situations available consider the correct movement to reach the target, avoiding unexpected structures, the time to complete the surgery, and the handling of injected local anesthetics. At the end of the program, for each clinical case, an overall rating will be provided to the user based on their performance.

BlockSim™Represents a new generation of regional anesthesia simulators, as it allows for the use of real needles, highly realistic tissue insertions for puncture, and expansion of anesthesia fluid without producing needle marks or damage.
