Introduction to WEG Relay RW Series

RW overload relay can protect the load from overheating caused by overload or phase loss. When overload or phase loss occurs in the circuit, the motor current increases. At this point, the increase in current will activate the trip mechanism, thereby driving the auxiliary 95-96 (normally closed) and 97-98 (normally open) actions. Assist in disconnecting the load through the contactor. The disconnection time is related to the overload current and the current set on the relay, which is appropriately represented on the relay trip curve. After tripping, it is necessary to wait for the system to recover in order to reset, which can be done automatically or manually.
