The TDR characteristic impedance tester is an important instrument used to test the impedance characteristics and fault location of wires, cables, or other transmission lines. Its working principle is simple and efficient. Firstly, it sends a short pulse signal that propagates along the measured conductor. When signals encounter different characteristics of conductors, such as impedance mismatch, open circuit, or short circuit, some signals will reflect back to the tester. By monitoring the intensity and time of these reflected signals, the TDR tester can accurately determine the impedance value, length, and fault location of the conductor.

The product is based on the principle of time-domain reflection and adopts true differential broadband sampling technology to design and implement a high bandwidth characteristic impedance testing and analysis equipment. Capable of automatically, quickly, batch, and accurately testing the characteristic impedance of circuit boards and wires and cables, with waveform display and analysis, suitable for impedance testing of PCB hard boards, FPC soft boards, and wires and cables.

① There are three different bandwidth series products to choose from, including ME045/ME085/ME150, which fully cover impedance strip testing and soft/hard board in board testing.
② The maximum bandwidth can reach 15GHz, with a short test line length of 1.5cm and a length of up to 5m, far exceeding the level of domestic TDR instruments.
③ The instrument is equipped with built-in calibration components, a solidified intelligent calibration program, and self checking calibration upon startup, which solves the problems of inability to calibrate, tedious calibration, calibration data deviation, and calibration data offset during long-term use of such instruments.
④ Impedance bar testing can be conducted, and with adjustable probes, onboard impedance testing can be performed, making it easy to handle testing of 5G impedance products.
⑤ Built in static protection circuit, can withstand static electricity up to 6kV, does not require strict anti-static testing laboratory and anti-static clothing operation, can be used in workshop environment.
⑥ By using true differential measurement technology, the testing accuracy is higher.
⑦ Adopting a combination of high-precision multi-point calibration and automatic calibration technology, factory multi-point calibration provides higher accuracy and more reassuring use.
⑧ Measurement data export supports multiple measurement data formats, which can be read by ERP systems.
⑨ Intelligent testing software that automatically captures the starting and ending points of waveforms, with a three-step testing process. The operation is simple and the automatic capture reduces manual errors and deviations caused by different personnel operations.
