1. Introduction to Structural Design

a. Chui Dust: Using large-diameter stainless steel centrifugal fans and dust stirring and drying mechanisms to effectively suck in dust.

b. Vibration: Using a micro eccentric wheel motor, dust shaking is more effective.

c. Dust cleaning: The bottom of the funnel of the box is equipped with a dust cleaning discharge port, which facilitates the cleaning and replacement of dust.

d. Observation window: A bright and clear large observation window equipped with lighting, providing a wider field of view for easy observation of dust concentration and amount inside the box.

e. Stereoscopic control panel: The matte black stereoscopic control panel is beautiful and elegant, with a prominent human-machine interface and various control switch arrangements. It is easy to operate and user-friendly.

2. Introduction to Control Design

a. Controller: Adopting the new generation of Xinjie PLC all-in-one machine (touch key human-machine interface+PLC), this PLC is Xinjie's new generation highly integrated controller, integrating human-machine interface and PLC, and the system is stable and reliable. The backlight LCD display mode can simultaneously display various information through human-machine dialogue input, and all operations only need to be carried out in the order indicated on the display screen.

b. Control interface: The configuration control screen of the human-machine interface is concise and clear, and the operation is simple.

c. Dust drying: The equipment is equipped with a dust drying heating device, and there is a heating button on the controller control screen. When the dust is found to be slightly damp during the experiment, the heating button on the control screen can be turned on to start the dust heating device to dry the dust. After the dust dries, the button can be turned off. The drying process will not affect the test process, effectively ensuring the dust concentration inside the test chamber. Ensure the correctness of the experimental data.

d. Safety protection: equipped with overload protection for power components, equipment phase loss and phase sequence protection. When the protection is activated, the controller will display an alarm screen prompt.

After plugging in the power switch, press the red button on the operation panel to start the control system; Then connect the tap water pipe to the IPX12 rain testing machine;

2. The testing machine should be placed on flat ground, with movable casters fixed at the four corners of the bottom to prevent displacement during the testing process;

3. Place the sample on the turntable; Then use zip ties to bind and fix the sample on the turntable to prevent displacement of the sample during the testing process, which may result in incorrect test values;

4. Adjust the height of the turntable so that the distance between the test sample and the needle is 200mm

5. The turntable can rotate during testing, with a tilt angle of 0 ° or 15 °; The rotation speed of the IPX1 turntable is 1r/min.

On the control panel, select the IPX1 drip test program and start the IPX1 drip test device; Click on the IPX1 drip test program on the operation panel. According to national standards, the total flow rate for IPX1 drip testing is 1-5mm/min (± 0.5mm/min), and a 10 minute simulation test should be conducted;

7. After the test is completed, the system alarm should be cleared, then the box door should be opened, the sample should be taken out, and the water droplets on the sample should be wiped dry with a cloth. The sample should be taken to the testing department to check for water ingress and other issues.

Maintenance content:

1: Please remove the baffle below. There is one end at the bottom of the equipment box that has been blocked with a plug. Use a wrench to remove the plug.

2: Please find a bag to cover the dust collection port and seal the bag opening.

3: Please turn on the device power, turn off other functions on the operating instrument, and turn on the vibration (the vibration time can be the same as the time set during normal testing). Set the testing time to 10-15 minutes, turn on the timer, and click on run.

4: Please turn off the power switch and open the bag with your hands or tools to remove the dust from the dust collection tee after the testing time has expired.

5: Please repeat steps 3 and 4 2-3 times and block the dust collection port with a plug. Clean the dust on the ground and blow compressed air onto the outer surface of the bottom of the equipment for cleaning.

6: Please put the sealing plate on and wipe the surface of the equipment with a cloth.

7: Please add the specified amount of dust according to the model. If testing is required, it can be conducted normally after being powered on.

Note: Dust is sensitive to moisture. If the equipment is not tested for a long time, please remove the dust from the equipment. If the environment is humid, turn on the temperature control inside the equipment box before testing every day, set 55 ℃, and leave the equipment unloaded for about 30 minutes.

Purpose of dust prevention test

Electronic and electrical products may be affected by sand and dust during transportation, storage, and use. Examples in practical applications:

Sand and dust can cause surface corrosion and damage to electronic and electrical products;

Can block the channel and filter;

Can enter cracks, pores, bearings, joints, and seals, causing various harmful effects;

Can bond and block moving parts and mating parts;

Can cause contactors and relays to malfunction, form conductive bridges, and create short circuits, thereby affecting the functionality and performance of the product;

Purpose of waterproof test

In the process of transportation and use, electronic and electrical products may be subject to the rain of natural precipitation, condensation, leakage and falling water drops, similar to the water impact caused by heavy rainstorm, spraying water system, and even water immersion.
