The ZARGES K470 universal case is a true classic. It was launched in 1950 and is still renowned for its innovative and ergonomic design, as well as its durable structure. These characteristics make it the foundation of most of our cases and reflect the quality and decades of experience of the ZARGES logistics team.

The design of K470 has undergone only minor changes over the past 70 years to keep up with technological advancements. Among the many included features, there is a lid with stainless steel hinges, snap fasteners, two cover straps, a polyurethane seal, cast aluminum stacking corners, three fully welded aluminum profile frames, riveted joints, beads and corner beads to enhance stability, as well as an ergonomic and durable comfortable handle that is easy to use even with gloves on.

Due to the advantage of aluminum, the efficiency of our boxes can be 50% higher than competing boxes. Thinner box walls mean larger cargo space and lighter box structure weight, thereby reducing logistics and transportation costs. Compared to particleboard or plastic boxes of the same size, ZARGES aluminum boxes are lighter and can accommodate more goods in the same footprint.

The protection level of IP 54 is the standard, and IP 65 protection level and hazardous material transportation certification can be provided. The K470 series boxes are approved for air transportation, including cargo and certain sizes of carry on luggage. In addition, several sizes have been certified by IGBC as grizzly bear resistant. There are a total of 26 standard sizes available, which can also be customized for manufacturing.
