Cross scratch test:

The scratch test can be conducted according to general standards without the need for additional procedures. You can choose the following cross cutting method (number of cuts x distance mm). 2 × 5, 6 × 1, 6 × 2, 6 × 3, 8 × 1, 8 × 2, 11 × 1, 11 × 2.

When analyzing some standards, adhesive tape should be used for peeling. The scope of supply includes a 2.5x magnifying glass for evaluating engraving. The appearance quality in most standards can be visually compared using standard scales (scratch gauges).

Although the adhesion test using the scratch method can be compared with each other, it is not suitable for comparison with the results of other test methods (such as the vertical detachment test EN 24 624). Because they are different processes.


Scratch resistance test:

According to the anti scratch test of GME 60280, select a blade with a diameter of 1mm and a predetermined grid spacing (20 blades, 2mm apart). Use the same 5N grid test for pressure and a speed of 1 meter per minute.

When analyzing the scratch resistance test, compare the shell degree difference △ L with the undamaged plastic surface. The D65 illumination light source can meet this requirement, and the geometric angle d/8 measurement hole is 27mm.
