Product Introduction

This cutting machine is suitable for cutting general metallographic and lithological materials. In order to be able to cut and sample safely, the machine adopts a fully enclosed double shell structure and a quick clamping device, and is equipped with a cooling water tank, which can circulate the configured coolant. To extend the service life of the equipment and facilitate operation and maintenance, the main components of the machine, such as the grinding wheel sleeve, jaw, and worktable, are made of stainless steel material and are used for cutting samples.

In the process of preparing metallographic specimens, material cutting is the first step in specimen preparation. In order to achieve safe specimen cutting, the cutting machine uses a high-speed rotating thin film reinforced grinding wheel to cut the specimen. To avoid burning the material tissue due to overheating of the sample during cutting, this machine is equipped with a cooling system to remove the heat generated during cutting.

Safety Operation Regulations for Metallographic Sample Cutting Machine 1 Operating Procedure 1.1 Preparatory Work (1) Connect the water inlet pipe (2) Insert the plug into the power socket, start the motor and check the rotation direction of the motor shaft. The shaft rotation direction should be clockwise. 1.2 Disassembly and Replacement of Grinding Wheel (1) Loosen the screws on the cover and remove the cover. (2) Loosen the screws on the drain pan and remove the drain pan. (3) Insert the opening of the wrench into the two planes of the shaft sleeve, with one end resting on the front end of the base. (4) Use another wrench to unscrew the clamping nuts one by one and remove the grinding wheel. (5) Install the grinding wheel in the opposite way, and place two thick paper pads on both sides of the grinding wheel. (6) Newly installed grinding wheels should be idle for a period of time to ensure safe operation. 1.3 The clamping of the experiment (1) is supported by a support plate to prevent the saw frame from falling. (2) Place the sample on the jaws of the saw frame. (3) Rotate the handle clockwise to clamp the sample. 1.4 Cutting of the sample (1) Lift the handle with your right hand and press the support plate downwards with your left hand, so that the front end of the support plate crosses the height of the fulcrum on the water flow plate. Hold the handle with your right hand to gradually approach the grinding wheel. (2) Adjust the knob and cooling pipe to make the direction and size of the coolant flow suitable for the cutting requirements. (3) When cutting, be sure to align the water flow with the cutting position of the sample and maintain uniform feed. (4) After cutting, lift the saw frame to a certain height, and the support plate will automatically fall down to support the saw frame. At this time, the sample can be removed. 2 Precautions (1) It is strictly prohibited to use grinding wheels with cracks. (2) It cannot work without cooling or with insufficient cooling. (3) It is not allowed to use grinding wheels with a linear speed lower than 35m/s. (4) After use, the accumulated chips and garbage inside the machine should be promptly removed, and the drainage should be smooth.
