Measuring principle
Adopting a combination of linearized resistance (LPR) and alternating current impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques.
The relationship between the resistance Rp and the rate of metal corrosion occurring in the tested system is as follows:

Fp=[Ba*Bc/2.303(Ba+Bc)]/Rp

In the formula: Fp - corrosion rate, Ki - conversion factor, Rp - chemical resistance,
Ba, Bc - Tafel slope of the negative and positive transformation curves.
