Molecular distillation is a special liquid-liquid separation technology that is different from traditional distillation that relies on the principle of boiling point difference separation. It is related to the molecular weight of the distilled mixture and can achieve operations far from the boiling point. The larger the difference in molecular weight, the greater the difference in molecular free path, and the purer the distillate. The molecular free path (represented by λ) here refers to the distance traveled by a molecule between two adjacent collisions.
Under high vacuum conditions, a liquid mixture flows along a heating plate and is heated. Depending on the molecular mean free path of substances with different molecular weights, the size and evaporation degree of the molecular mean free path between the vaporization surface and the condensation surface are also significantly different. The molecular mean free path of light component molecules is larger, while that of heavy component molecules is smaller, allowing light components to reach the condensation plate and be condensed, leaving them behind along the condensation plate; And the recombinant molecules cannot reach the condensation plate and remain along the heating plate, thus separating different substances.

Molecular distillation technology, as a high-tech separation technology synchronized with international standards, has advantages that other separation technologies do not have:
1. Operate at temperatures far below the boiling point of the material, and the material has a short residence time; Beneficial for the separation of high boiling point, thermosensitive, and easily oxidizable materials;
2. Effectively removing substances such as organic solvents, odors, etc. from liquids is a very effective method for solvent extraction and liquid dissolution;
3. The product can be selectively evaporated to remove other impurities, and two or more substances can be separated simultaneously through multi-stage separation;
4. It can effectively remove light molecular substances (deodorization), heavy molecular substances (decolorization), and impurities from mixtures;
5. The separation process is a physical separation process, which can effectively protect the separated substances from contamination, especially by maintaining the original quality of natural extracts;
6. There is no boiling or bubbling phenomenon. Molecular distillation is a free evaporation on the surface of the liquid layer, carried out at low pressure, and there is no dissolved air in the liquid. Therefore, the entire liquid cannot be boiled during the distillation process, and there is no bubbling phenomenon;
7. High separation degree, higher than traditional distillation and ordinary thin film evaporators;
8. Easy to form continuous production and simple operation;
9. Molecular distillation has a short distillation process, with an average free path of no more than 25mm and low energy consumption.
10. The feeding tank can optionally achieve preheating function, and the preheating temperature can be adjusted;
11. Each interface is sealed with fluorine rubber gaskets, which have good air tightness. If customers need corrosion resistance, they can replace it with PTFE material.
Application Scope:
L can replace conventional falling film evaporators for distillation, purification, concentration, and decolorization of petrochemical and chemical products;
Especially suitable for distillation and refining of heat sensitive and easily oxidizable chemical industrial products;
L can also be used for distillation separation of high boiling point products;

The processing capacity of short-range distillation is directly related to the molecular weight of raw materials (products), material viscosity, operating conditions, and the effective heat transfer area of the evaporator.

Working temperature: up to nearly 400 ℃
