1、 Laboratory Introduction
ErgoHMI Intelligent Cockpit Driving Simulation Human Computer Interaction Evaluation Laboratory is a driving simulation human computer interaction evaluation laboratory independently innovated and configured by Beijing Jinfa Technology Co., Ltd. The laboratory combines the ErgoSIM driving simulation system, intelligent cockpit HMI prototype development and central control system, and ErgoLAB human-machine interaction evaluation system. Through the synchronous collection and comprehensive analysis of multi-dimensional data from human vehicle road environment based on driving simulation environment, subjective and objective data indicators are used to evaluate the intelligent cockpit HMI design. Optimization is carried out in the design stage to shorten the research and development cycle and reduce design costs.
The laboratory is based on the ErgoLAB human vehicle road environment synchronization cloud platform, using self-developed technology from Jinfa Technology. It has multiple national inventions and software copyrights, and has passed provincial and ministerial level new technology and product certifications, as well as international management system certifications such as CE in Europe, FCC in the United States, RoHS in the European Union, ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, etc. The laboratory combines advanced technologies such as ErgoLAB synchronization technology, cloud architecture technology, Bluetooth transmission technology, biometric technology, virtual reality and simulation technology, eye tracking measurement technology, brain imaging technology, as well as multiple cutting-edge algorithms such as multi-sensor fusion and machine learning, to provide advanced scientific research and data analysis methods for intelligent cockpit human-machine interaction testing.

2、 Laboratory construction plan
1. Laboratory layout
The ErgoHMI intelligent cockpit driving simulation human-machine interaction evaluation laboratory is divided into a main control room and a driving simulation testing room. The main control room is equipped with the ErgoLAB multi-dimensional data analysis and artificial intelligence application platform for human vehicle road environment, while the driving simulation testing room is equipped with the ErgoSIM driving simulator and a multi-dimensional data synchronization acquisition platform for human vehicle road environment.

2. System composition
The ErgoHMI intelligent cockpit driving simulation human-machine interaction evaluation laboratory consists of the ErgoSIM driving simulation system, intelligent cockpit HMI prototype development and central control system, and ErgoLAB human-machine interaction evaluation system.
The ErgoSIM driving simulation system is divided into a simple driving simulation system, a flexible intelligent cockpit simulator, and a real vehicle modification simulator, providing customized driving simulation environments for different research needs. Among them, the intelligent cockpit simulator adopts flexible design, with detachable cockpit components to meet the testing needs of different models of vehicles; At the same time, the cockpit has an excellent control system with strong compatibility, using a direct drive system and servo motor, providing more accurate data, more precise sensitivity, and the most realistic force feedback.


The development of intelligent cockpit HMI prototype and central control system can be based on Linux and Android for cockpit HMI prototype design and development, and integrate intelligent interaction methods such as voice, gesture, eye control, etc., to achieve HMI interactive display screen control of the simulator hardware system, and to evaluate and optimize HMI multimodal interaction methods; The cockpit can also simultaneously monitor the status of the driver, passengers, and cabin, and provide feedback and warnings on the status of personnel and vehicles.

The ErgoLAB human-machine interaction evaluation system can synchronously collect multidimensional human vehicle road environment data during the driving process, including eye movement, physiology, EEG, brain imaging, behavior, interaction, motion posture, vehicle, environmental data, etc., and perform signal processing and statistical analysis to complete the human-machine interaction evaluation of the cockpit HMI through objective data indicators.
3、 Laboratory functional characteristics
1. Complete laboratory construction and human-computer interaction evaluation system
Jinfa Technology provides a complete laboratory construction plan and cockpit human-machine interaction evaluation tool, from laboratory planning, driving simulator construction, cockpit HMI and intelligent interaction system integration, to multi-dimensional data synchronization based human-machine interaction evaluation, providing comprehensive and flexible solutions for researchers and designers.

2. Integration and evaluation of multimodal intelligent interaction methods
To adapt to the trend of intelligent cockpit in the future, the laboratory can integrate new interactive methods such as voice, gesture, eye control, emotion, and brain computer into the driving simulation environment, and complete the evaluation and verification of multimodal human-computer interaction methods.

3. Human machine interaction evaluation based on HMI prototype
The laboratory adopts self-developed technology, which can directly interface with HMI prototype design software, read prototype source code, collect and analyze human-machine interaction data based on high fidelity interactive prototypes, and quickly feedback evaluation results to the design, achieving iterative optimization of HMI design.

4. HMI interactive data collection and quantitative analysis
The system can collect HMI human-machine interaction data, such as finger clicks, swipes, voice, gesture, eye control interaction events, etc., and combine multi-dimensional data such as eye movement, physiology, and EEG for quantitative analysis, evaluating HMI from different stages such as perception, decision-making, and behavior.

5. Combining subjective and objective evaluation methods
The ErgoLAB human-computer interaction evaluation system is compatible with traditional subjective evaluation methods such as questionnaire scales, and synchronizes subjective evaluation results with objective data such as eye movement, physiology, EEG, behavior, interaction, and posture, providing a comprehensive data indicator system.

6. Multi dimensional data synchronization collection of human, vehicle, and road environments
The laboratory can achieve real-time synchronous collection and data visualization of human, vehicle, road, and environmental data, objectively and quantitatively analyzing the interaction and influence mechanism of human vehicle road environment and its inherent causal relationship.

7. Comprehensive analysis of multidimensional data and state recognition
The ErgoLAB human-computer interaction evaluation system is developed with professional signal processing and data analysis modules for multi-dimensional data sources, which enables one click batch processing of data and can be combined with machine learning algorithms to achieve personnel state recognition.

4、 Research support and joint experiments
Based on laboratory construction, Jinfa Technology can provide scientific research support and joint experimental services, aiming to combine new technologies and methods with usability testing research to promote the output and implementation of field achievements; Combining industry university research cooperation models to promote the incubation of more new technologies and products in industries, fields, and specialties.
