In response to the poor corrosion resistance and easy perforation of the shell of ordinary valves, based on the specific characteristics of the medium, low torque globe valves use corrosion-resistant steel (carbon steel with added corrosion-resistant alloy elements) as the valve body material, which can withstand ammonia and liquid ammonia corrosion, and can be used at low temperatures up to -40 ° C to the maximum extent possible to meet the requirements of working conditions.
Low torque globe valve sealing pair pairing structure type: adopts ball type and flat type, with automatic sealing compensation to achieve a dual safety effect. The flat seal adopts a combination of soft and hard sealing, which greatly improves the sealing performance. In the past, globe valves with double-sided hard seals would leak after the sealing surface was worn, while the soft and hard matched flat seal would compensate for the damage of the medium or valve seal on the sealing side. Therefore, the torque globe valve has stable sealing performance, no adhesive wear, and effectively solves the problem of poor sealing performance and easy leakage of ordinary valves used in chemical pipelines.
The flange in the product adopts a mortise and tenon sealing structure, which ensures absolute reliability of the flange seal even in the case of pipeline pressure fluctuations.
Multiple levels of polytetrafluoroethylene sealing material are used in the upper sealing device to form a combined seal, ensuring that there is no medium leakage from the packing box of the valve during its service life, eliminating the possibility of weak sealing, medium leakage, and even accidents caused by ordinary valve packing boxes.
The low torque globe valve cover adopts an integrated structure (concealed rod), which can ensure the concentricity of the valve cover's reverse closing position and the packing chamber, reduce the friction during the opening and closing process of the globe valve, and thus reduce the torque.
The transmission nut structure of the low torque cut-off valve is bottom mounted, effectively reducing the leverage effect and reducing the heavy torque caused by the leverage effect (ordinary cut-off valve nuts are top mounted, and the operating handwheel is far away from the center of the valve disc through transmission)
The sealing surface of low torque globe valves can be made of various sealing materials (such as nylon/PTFE/PPL/fluororubber/Babbitt alloy, which have good sealing performance) or manufactured as hard sealing materials. When the sealing material is a soft sealing material, the closing torque and opening torque are only one-third of those of a regular globe valve.
The internal structure design of the low torque globe valve follows the American standard style, effectively reducing the residence time of the medium in the valve. The valve seal can also be sealed in both directions, and the valve can be assembled on the pipeline in any flow direction without affecting the flow rate of the medium and the sealing performance of the valve closure.
