The intelligent monitoring system for power distribution rooms is mainly divided into three parts: perception layer, network layer, and application layer.

(1) The perception layer includes various perception sensors (environment perception, device perception, image perception) and aggregation units (intelligent integrated monitoring terminals). The perception layer is installed in the distribution room to monitor the actual environmental status and various parameters on site in real time, such as smoke and fog, illegal personnel intrusion, cable trench water ingress, environmental temperature and humidity, etc.

(2) The network layer is mainly composed of access gateways, and the data perceived by the power Internet of Things can be uploaded through APN/4G private network/fiber optic network, or through the power automation network with the help of DTU/FTU/TTU communication interfaces.The network layer is responsible for implementing data transmission between terminal devices and IoT platforms, including data collection, response signals, network heartbeats, and other information sent upstream by terminals, as well as control commands, broadcast information, and response information issued by IoT platforms.

(3) The application layer is mainly composed of various system master stations and various data and application services. It is mainly used to receive monitoring data collected and uploaded by sensors from the access gateway, perform extraction, analysis, display and other processing work, and jointly form a complete integrated information platform system for intelligent power Internet of Things application system.

1. Environmental monitoring

Configure temperature and humidity transmitters: both distributed for monitoring environmental temperature and humidity;

Configure water immersion detector and liquid level sensor: monitor whether water enters the cable trench;

Configure noise sensor: used for monitoring environmental noise;

Configure ozone sensor: used to measure the concentration of ozone in the environment and prevent rapid oxidation of equipment;

Configure SF6+O2 gas detector: used to monitor the SF6 gas concentration and oxygen content in the distribution room environment, ensuring the environmental safety of personnel entering the site.

And environmental monitoring hosts are configured in each distribution room to collect the status and data information of various sensors. The hosts have station end diagnostic functions and control on-site lighting, fans, dehumidifiers, water pumps, etc. The data is centrally organized and uploaded to the intelligent communication server.

2. Security monitoring

Configure infrared detectors: Install infrared detectors at the entrance of the distribution room for indoor monitoring to prevent intrusion;

Configure door magnetic sensors: Install door magnetic sensors on the distribution room doors to detect whether doors and windows are illegally opened;

Configure access control controller: used to manage personnel access and allow remote door opening operations. Automatically identify the identity information and access control permission information on the smart card. The cardholder can only open the door and allow access after swiping the card at the designated time and authorized access point. Otherwise, it will refuse to open the door and output an alarm signal for illegal intrusion. And it can be combined with environmental and power data. Only when the door opening conditions are met, can card swiping be used to enter.

3. Fire monitoring

Configure a fire alarm controller to receive fire signals and activate the fire alarm device. It can also be used to indicate the location of the fire and record relevant information. Can activate fire alarm signals through fire alarm transmission devices or activate automatic fire extinguishing equipment and fire linkage control equipment through automatic fire extinguishing control devices. The correct operation of the automatic monitoring system and the provision of sound and light alarms for specific faults.

Configure open flame detectors and smoke detectors to monitor the fire status inside the power distribution room/switching station. When a fire alarm signal is collected, the intelligent monitoring host uploads the signal to the system monitoring software and links it with the video system for recording.

4. Linkage control

The configuration of fan/water pump/lighting control box is mainly used for indoor fan/water pump/lighting linkage control, with remote control start stop function, receiving remote control signals to start the fan output action and carry out ventilation treatment on site.

Configure the air conditioning controller, and through self-learning various control commands from the original air conditioning remote control, the monitoring system can achieve multiple functions such as remote power on/off, temperature setting, and operation mode setting through the RS485 interface, thereby realizing remote monitoring and control of ordinary air conditioning.

Configure an intelligent dehumidifier for dehumidification inside the switchgear cabinet, which can quickly reduce the humidity inside the cabinet, condense the water vapor inside the cabinet into water, and directly discharge it out of the box, causing trouble when exposed to moisture, ensuring the safe operation of electrical equipment, and automatically saving energy and environmental protection after stable humidity.

5. Equipment monitoring

Configure a switchgear partial discharge online monitoring system to monitor partial discharge inside the switchgear. Each high-voltage cabinet is equipped with one monitoring point installed in the cable room of the switchgear, which can monitor the discharge status of the equipment in real time and detect safety hazards in a timely manner.

7. Video surveillance

Configure a video surveillance system for remote inspection of the high-voltage indoor environment and high-voltage equipment by staff.

(1) Install security cameras to monitor the real-time situation in the power distribution room;

(2) Alarm linkage photography function: supports multiple alarm categories such as power distribution room accident alarm, fire alarm, anti-theft alarm, fire alarm, power equipment water immersion alarm, access control alarm, illegal intrusion and image change alarm, and linkage photography upload function; When an alarm occurs, it can be linked to related devices, such as activating sirens.
