When an increase in pressure is recorded upstream of the filter, the filter disc is automatically pulled by pneumatic or hydraulic drive. Throughout the entire production process, the effective filtering area remains constant, and the pressure of the filter only slightly increases. After passing through the melt flow in the cavity, the filter screen can be replaced without interfering with the production process.

The sieve chambers on the filter disc are distributed in a circular shape and are completely enclosed by two filter blocks. The filter can be inserted into the cavity by opening a small hatch door. The production process is not affected by screen changing programs. Due to the modular design of the filtration system, a small number of vulnerable parts (such as heating elements and bearing bushings) can be replaced during operation. Ensure the continuity of production.
