The sealing of the filtration system relies on very hard and flat contact surfaces, without the need for any sealing components. This makes the system run almost without wear and tear. According to the size of the system, it can withstand a pressure of 800 bar. Due to the rotating operation of the filter disk, it is possible to automatically replace contaminated filters without affecting the process. Based on this technology, various filtration systems can be freely developed, suitable for various applications such as film/sheet manufacturing, fiber manufacturing, PVC processing, rubber processing, and recycling.

Sealing relies on metal to metal sealing, with very narrow gaps and a very hard and flat surface. Ensure that all components in contact with the melt do not come into contact with the environment (such as oxygen).

The filter screen is located on the annular part of the filter disc and moves through the melt channel. When the melt flow filter is used, pollutant particles are intercepted and the pressure difference slightly increases. The control system responds to the increase in pressure, causing the index of the filter disc to rise by 1-2 degrees. Therefore, the contaminated filter continuously leaves the melt channel, while the clean filter is simultaneously fed into the melt channel, leaving the effective filtering area unchanged. Due to this operation method, the filtering system runs continuously without interruption, and the pressure remains unchanged. Under standard conditions, the change in filter pressure difference is 2 bar, and customization can be provided for harsh applications.

Before the contaminated filter enters the melt channel again, it will be cleaned through a high-pressure cleaning system to remove contaminants. The filtered melt is taken out from the outlet block, siphoned into the hydraulic driven piston, and then ejected from behind at high pressure and speed, entering the inlet block through the filter disc and screen. Only a small section (approximately 1% of the filter area) is cleaned each time. The stroke (=amount of molten material used) and speed (=cleaning intensity) of the backwash piston can be freely adjusted to achieve optimization. Therefore, on the one hand, cleaning is very effective, but on the other hand, the amount of melt used is small (with minimal backwash losses). Due to this operation method, the sieve can be cleaned almost 100% and can be reused up to 400 times according to the filtration fineness. This makes it possible for a fully automated filter (without any operator's attention) to be used in some applications for several months.

Afterwards, due to mechanical reasons, the filter screen must be replaced. Thanks to the specialized operation mode of the filtration system, changing the screen will not have any negative impact on the production process. According to the size of the line, a complete filter replacement takes approximately 15 minutes and can be carried out by workshop operators without affecting the production process.
