This series is a general purpose fully enclosed self fan cooled squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor. It is a basic series designed uniformly in China with a protection level of IP44.
This series of motors is suitable for general locations and machinery without special requirements that do not contain flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases, such as metal cutting machines, pumps, fans, transportation machinery, mixers, agriculture, machinery, food machinery, etc. Due to the good starting performance of electric motors, they are also used in machinery that requires high starting torque, such as compressors.
The YP-M/YP-WFI series motor is a derivative series of the Y series three-phase asynchronous motor, with the same power level, installation size, technical data as the Y series. This series of motors is mainly used in outdoor mild anti-corrosion (YP-W series) and outdoor moderate anti-corrosion (YP-WFI series) places. Reliable measures have been taken in strengthening the structure, sealing design, selection of high-quality materials, and anti-corrosion process treatment of electric motors, effectively playing a role in preventing chemical gas corrosion. The protection level of the motor casing is IP54.
