Overview

The KSA-DOY-02 fluorescence dissolved oxygen sensor uses the principle of "dynamic fluorescence quenching" to measure dissolved oxygen in water. The thin film at the top of this sensor is covered with a layer of fluorescent material. When the blue light emitted by the light emitting diode (LED) shines on the fluorescent material, it will emit fluorescence when it returns from the excited state to the ground state, which is the test signal. The higher the concentration of dissolved oxygen, the shorter the duration of fluorescence. By testing the duration of fluorescence, the concentration of dissolved oxygen can be calculated. Built in temperature, pressure, and automatic compensation for dissolved oxygen values.

Maintenance and precautions

1. maintenance

lSuggest everyClean the sensor membrane head attachment within 30 days; Avoid using hard objects to scratch the fluorescent film head during cleaning; Please wipe with a soft damp cloth.

lIt is recommended to clean the outer surface of the sensor with water flow. If there are still debris residues, please wipe them with a damp soft cloth.

2. Precautions

lFluorescent film head: Do not use sharp objects to scratch the fluorescent film head;Once the fluorescent material is scraped off, the dissolved oxygen value cannot be accurately measured and the fluorescent film head needs to be replaced.

lReplace the fluorescent cap: The fluorescent cap is connected to the sensor body through threaded fastening, and a waterproof sealing ring is used in the middle; Do not miss the sealing ring when replacing.

lInstallation measurement: Avoid conducting installation measurement in areas with turbulent water flow to reduce the impact of water bubbles on the measurement.

lDaily storage: When not in use for a long time, use a protective cover with moist cotton for storage. Long term dry storage requires soaking before useUse after 48 hours.

Suggestion: Choose our company's protective cover to prevent microbial attachment from affecting measurement results
