On December 15-16, 2025, the Second Member Conference of the Plastic Shoes Special Committee of the China Plastics Association and the High Quality Development Exchange Conference of the Plastic Shoes Industry were successfully held in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. Nearly 200 people attended the meeting, including Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, Fang Weibin, Deputy Secretary of the People's Government of Jieyang City, Huang Chunming, Standing Committee Member and Executive Deputy District Chief of Rongcheng District Committee of Jieyang City, Tian Yan, Vice Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, and relevant department leaders, industry experts, and member representatives.
 

　　　　

In his speech, Chairman Wang Zhanjie analyzed the overall development situation of the plastic industry today and fully affirmed the strong development resilience of the plastic shoe industry in the complex and severe economic environment at home and abroad. The plastic processing industry is facing multiple challenges such as shrinking demand, rising costs, and environmental pressures. Based on the development situation of the industry, Chairman Wang Zhanjie proposed to strengthen innovation leadership and cultivate new advantages for industrial development. Secondly, we must practice the green concept and explore new paths for sustainable development. We need to deepen the "Three Products" campaign and enhance the new value of our brand and market. Fourth, we need to expand domestic and foreign markets and build a new pattern of dual circulation development. We must give full play to the role of the special committee and jointly build and coordinate the development of the new ecology in five aspects.

The second general meeting of the Plastic Shoes Special Committee heard and approved the first council work report by Director Huang Weibing, the financial work report by Executive Vice Director Lu Youliang, the revision explanation of the "Work Regulations of the Plastic Shoes Special Committee of the China Plastics Association (Revised Draft)" by Deputy Director Zhang Wentong, and the "Election Method for the Second Council of the Plastic Shoes Special Committee of the China Plastics Association" by Deputy Director Huang Liefeng.
 

　　　　

The general meeting of the members held a special committee election, and the Deputy Secretary General of the China Plastics Association, Alan Leong, read out the approval of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association on the second council of the Plastic Shoes Special Committee. The leadership team of the second council of the special committee was elected on site, and the Deputy Secretary General of the special committee was appointed. The newly elected director of the special committee, Huang Weibing, delivered his inauguration speech.
 

 

After the member conference, a national exchange meeting on high-quality development of the plastic shoe industry was held, and four experts including Tian Yan, Vice Chairman of the China Plastics Association, gave special presentations.

 

　　　　

During the meeting, Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Association, together with Vice Chairman Tian Yan and Vice Chairman Liu Shu, went to Guangdong Haixing Holdings Group and Guangdong Sidijia Industrial Co., Ltd. for research work.
 

　　　　

At Guangdong Haixing Holdings Group, Chairman Song Xubin and Secretary General of the Household Products Special Committee of the China Plastics Association, Alan Leong, accompanied Chairman Wang Zhanjie and Vice Chairman Tian Yan to visit the company's product exhibition hall and had discussions and exchanges. Chairman Song Xubin reported on the overall operation trend of the plastic home goods industry, the recent key work of the special committee, and the latest developments in the industry's foreign trade and e-commerce fields, based on the development practice of Haixing Holdings. Chairman Wang Zhanjie fully affirmed the work done by the Home Furnishings Committee and Haixing Holdings. He pointed out that industry enterprises should firmly grasp the development trend of green, low-carbon, intelligent, and high-end, increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, research and develop more green, safe, and high-quality products that meet the needs of a better life, and promote the high-quality development of the plastic home industry.
 

　　　　

At Sidijia Industrial Co., Ltd., Chairman Wang Zhanjie and Vice Chairman Liu Shu visited the company's production workshop, research and development laboratory, and product display area in depth. They listened in detail to the work report and future development ideas of the company's leader Huang Weibing on new material research and development, independent brand construction, market expansion layout, etc. They focused on inquiring about the difficulties and needs encountered by the company in the research and development of environmentally friendly plastic materials for shoes and the process of promoting brand internationalization. Chairman Wang Zhanjie fully affirmed the breakthroughs and achievements of Sidijia Industry in new material innovation and independent brand building in recent years. He pointed out that the plastic shoe industry is in a critical stage of transformation and upgrading. As the backbone of the industry, enterprises should continue to focus on technological innovation, increase research and development investment in environmental protection and functional shoe materials, and deeply cultivate the construction of independent brands to enhance product added value and international competitiveness.
