Heavy manufacturing enables the production and stability of ultra large equipment

At the Terry GIGA factory, two heavy-duty Skoda floor boring and milling machines form the core of ultra large template processing. The core components and installation and debugging technology of the equipment are all imported from the Czech Republic, and can cover up to 12000 ton ultra large template processing, with a single piece bearing capacity of over 100 tons, providing key conditions for the independent processing of 7200 ton templates.


The difficulty of ultra large templates lies not only in size and weight, but also in maintaining machining accuracy and consistency under heavy load conditions. Skoda equipment, with its high rigidity, high rotational accuracy, and operational stability, can achieve a machining accuracy of 5 μ m and complete the machining of key parts such as large-sized precision holes and deep holes, ensuring template quality and long-term stable operation of the entire machine from the source.
