During the daily use of injection molding machines, there may be situations where the slider is damaged. If it continues to be forcibly used, it will not only worsen the damage, but also affect production activities.

  01cause of damage
The main causes of slider damage in injection molding machines during daily use are impact, collision, friction, etc. The following are typical concentrated damage causes during use.
  1. The operator mistakenly installed itmoldThe tool was placed on the guide rail and accidentally opened and closed the mold, causing damage to the slider due to impact.

  2Scattered foreign objects (material heads, metal sheets) on the guide rail are caught in the slider, causing damage to the slider.

  02Adverse consequences after damage
Please stop using the machine immediately after it is damaged. Please contact the after-sales department of the injection molding machine and replace the new slider before use. If forcibly used, the following situations may occur.
  1. After the damage, the internal ball bearings of the slider will scatter and get involved in other mechanical parts of the machine.

  2Uneven contact between the slider and the guide rail after damage can cause the guide rail to be damaged as well.

  3The uneven parallelism of the damaged template may lead to product defects.
The deviation of template parallelism may cause uneven fluidity of the resin, leading to a lack of resin on one side or the formation of burrs in the product.
  03Preventive measures against recurrence
  1Before using the injection molding machine, check for foreign objects on the guide rail and perform a simple cleaning.
  2Regularly add butter to the slider to ensure lubrication between the guide rail and slider, reducing rail wear.
