To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's water governance philosophy of "giving priority to water conservation, balancing spatial distribution, conducting systematic governance, and leveraging both government and market forces" and his important instructions on developing the water-saving industry, implement the deployment requirements of the state and Shandong Province on accelerating the development of the water-saving industry, cultivate and develop new quality productive forces in water conservation, strengthen water-saving technological innovation and industrial application, improve the level of intensive water resource utilization, support the implementation of the "Good Products from Shandong, High-Quality Water-Saving Products" market expansion campaign, and accelerate the high-quality development of the water-saving industry in our province, it is decided after research to hold the "2025 Shandong Province Water-Saving Industry Development Conference and the 1st Shandong Water-Saving Technology and Equipment Exhibition" at the Linyi International Expo Center from November 18 to 20, 2025.
 

Centering on the central work of Shandong Province's water-saving industry in 2025, the exhibition will play a bridging role in connecting government and enterprises, industry and research, supply and demand, and industry and finance, build an information window and service platform for brand promotion, product recommendation, and exchange and docking, and provide technical support and product guarantee for water-saving application, planning and design, and project main units in the province.

By 2027, the scale of the province's water-saving industry will increase by 30% to 100 billion yuan, and a "2+2+N" water-saving industry layout of "dual cores, two wings, and multi-point support" will be built; by 2035, the industry scale will double in 10 years, anchoring the new strategic development opportunity of Shandong's water-saving industry with 100 billion-level investment, construction, and development.

As the final year of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan, 2025 will display and exchange the technological innovation and development achievements of Shandong Province in the layout and development of the water-saving industry and the construction of a water-saving society during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period; promote the water-saving industry development plans and industrial layouts of the province and 16 cities during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and publicize and show the responsibility and action of Shandong's water-saving in building a water-saving society and promoting high-quality green and low-carbon development.
