Operating Specifications

  • Empty vehicle operation inspectionBefore use, run the vehicle empty to ensure stability and no abnormal vibrations, and observe whether the discharge mechanism is working properly. For example, before starting the equipment for formal feeding, idle for a few minutes to check if the equipment is running smoothly and if the discharge port can be opened and closed normally.
  • Correct feeding sequenceAdditives should be added after half of the main material in the machine has entered the batch; Liquid additives should be sprayed after all the main materials have entered the machine, and after spraying, they should be mixed for a period of time before being discharged. For example, when mixing feed, first add most of the ingredients to the mixer, run for a period of time, then add trace element additives, and finally add liquid fats and oils.
  • Control the loading amountDifferent types of mixers have suitable loading conditions, such as a filling coefficient of 0.6-0.8 for horizontal screw belt mixers, and the material level should not exceed the top plane of the rotor; The filling coefficient of the batch vertical mixer is generally controlled between 0.8-0.85; The effective filling coefficient of a single or double axis blade mixer is 0.8-1. When the bulk density of the material is greater than 0.6, it shall be calculated based on the mixing amount of each batch; When the bulk density of the material is ≤ 0.6, the bulk density range can be used.
  • Mixing time controlIt is important to determine the mixing time for a batch mixer. The mixing time is too short, the material mixing is not sufficient, which affects the product quality; Excessive mixing time can lead to increased energy consumption, decreased production, and separation and accumulation of components, resulting in a decrease in mixing uniformity. For example, a horizontal screw belt mixer usually mixes for 2-5 minutes per batch, while a dual axis effective mixer can generally achieve the required mixing uniformity in 40-60 seconds.
  • Avoid metal debrisMetal impurities cannot be mixed in the material to avoid affecting rotation or damaging the blades. Before feeding, materials can be screened through equipment such as sieves to remove metal impurities.

Equipment maintenance

  • Regularly clean up residual materialsRegularly clean the residual materials inside the machine to prevent them from affecting the quality of the next mixing, and also to avoid material deterioration causing corrosion to the equipment. For example, after each mixing process, open the equipment cleaning door and use specialized tools to clean up any remaining materials.
  • Lubrication and maintenanceAccording to the instructions, regularly lubricate and maintain the relevant parts. Regularly adding gear oil to the gearbox, brushing the transmission chain and sprocket with diesel once a month, and refreshing the oil on the chain and sprocket to reduce equipment wear and extend equipment service life.
  • Inspect vulnerable componentsRegularly inspect equipment, conduct regular maintenance, and repair and replace vulnerable parts in a timely manner when they are damaged. For example, check once a month whether the discharge door leaks material, whether the sealing strip is damaged, and whether the discharge linkage mechanism is in the dead center position when closing the door; Clean the fuel injector once a month, and at the same time, clean the remaining attached materials on the inner wall and cover plate of the mixer.
  • Check the sealing performanceRegularly check the sealing performance of the mixer, especially when mixing toxic, harmful, flammable, explosive and other substances, it is necessary to ensure good sealing performance to prevent material leakage from causing safety accidents or environmental pollution.
