Daily inspection and maintenance of mold scale cleaning machine
Date: 2025-10-24Read: 22
The mold scale cleaning machine uses high-pressure water flow or chemical agents to remove scale on the surface of the mold. Daily inspection and maintenance are crucial for ensuring equipment performance, extending service life, and ensuring cleaning effectiveness. The following are specific daily inspection and maintenance points:1、 Daily inspection
1. Check before startup
-
Appearance and Connection
- Check if the equipment casing is intact, without damage or deformation, to prevent leakage or water ingress.
- Confirm that all pipelines (inlet pipes, drainage pipes, high-pressure hoses) are securely connected without looseness or leakage.
- Check the surface of the high-pressure hose for cracks, wear, or aging, and replace it immediately if found (the lifespan of the hose is usually 1-2 years, depending on the frequency of use).
-
Electrical system
- Check if the power cord, plug, and socket are intact, without any damage or burnt marks.
- Test the emergency stop button (red mushroom head) function to ensure that the device immediately shuts off when pressed.
- Confirm that the grounding device is secure and the grounding resistance is ≤ 4 Ω (tested with a grounding resistance tester).
-
waterway system
- Check if the inlet filter is clogged, and if it is clogged, clean it (recommended to clean it once a week).
- Confirm that the water level in the tank is within the normal range (observed through a water level gauge) to avoid damaging the pump body due to idling.
- Check if the drainage valve is tightly closed to prevent water leakage during the cleaning process.
-
mechanical part
- Check for any abnormal vibration or noise in the pump body, motor, and transmission components.
- Confirm that the spray gun and nozzle are not blocked or worn (if the nozzle diameter decreases by more than 10%, it needs to be replaced).
- Check if the pressure setting of the safety valve is correct (usually 1.1 times the rated pressure of the equipment) to avoid overpressure operation.
2. Check during operation
-
Pressure and Flow
- Listen to the running sound of the pump body. If there is any abnormal noise or pressure fluctuation, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
- Observe whether the system pressure is stable through a pressure gauge (usually within the rated pressure range of the equipment, such as 10-20MPa).
- Check if the water flow rate is normal. If the flow rate significantly decreases, it may be due to nozzle blockage or pump leakage.
-
temperature
- Touch the pump body and motor casing. If the temperature exceeds 60 ℃, stop the machine for cooling and check the cooling system.
- Confirm that the cooling fan is operating normally (if the device is equipped with active cooling).
-
leak
- Observe whether there is any water or chemical leakage at the connections of the equipment, especially at the high-pressure hose joints, pump body sealing rings, and other parts.
- If a leak is found, immediately stop the machine and tighten the joint or replace the seal.
2、 Regular maintenance
1. Weekly maintenance (once a week)
-
clean
- Clean the dust and oil stains on the equipment casing (wipe with a dry cloth, do not rinse the electrical parts directly with water).
- Clean the inlet filter (remove the filter screen, rinse with clean water or clean with a soft bristled brush).
-
lubrication
- Add lubricating grease (such as lithium based grease No.2, injected with a grease gun) to moving parts such as the pump body and motor bearings.
-
check
- Test whether the emergency stop button and safety valve function properly.
- Check the wear of the spray gun and nozzle, and replace them if necessary.
2. Monthly maintenance (once a month)
-
waterway system
- Clean the inside of the water tank (empty the tank and clean the sediment with a soft bristled brush).
- Check if the sealing ring of the water pump is aging, and replace it if there is a leak (the lifespan of the sealing ring is usually 6-12 months).
-
Electrical system
- Check if the wiring inside the control cabinet is loose and tighten the terminals with a screwdriver.
- Clean the dust inside the electrical cabinet (using compressed air or a brush, do not use water).
-
mechanical part
- Check if the tension of the drive belt (if equipped) is appropriate, and adjust it if it is loose.
- Check if the pump body and motor foundation bolts are loose, and tighten them with a wrench.
3. Quarterly maintenance (once per quarter)
-
Pump body maintenance
- Disassemble the pump body and check the wear of the impeller and shaft sleeve (if the impeller clearance is greater than 0.5mm, it needs to be replaced).
- Clean the scale inside the pump body (soak in 5% hydrochloric acid solution and rinse to avoid corrosion of metal parts).
-
High pressure hose inspection
- Use a pressure tester to test the pressure resistance performance of the hose (the test pressure is 1.5 times the rated pressure, and there is no leakage for 5 minutes).
- If the hose expands, deforms, or leaks, it needs to be replaced immediately.
-
Calibration of safety valve
- Send a professional organization to calibrate the safety valve (ensuring that the opening pressure is 1.1 times the rated pressure and the reseating pressure is 0.9 times the opening pressure).
3、 Key component maintenance
1. High pressure pump
-
dailyListen to the sound of the pump body during operation. If there is a "click" sound or pressure fluctuation, it may be due to plunger wear or seal ring leakage.
-
maintenanceReplace the plunger seal ring quarterly (if leaking), and replace the plunger pair annually (if worn out).
-
PrecautionsDo not idle the pump body, otherwise it may damage the seals.
2. Spray gun and nozzle
-
dailyClean the scale inside the nozzle after each use (use a fine needle to clear it).
-
maintenanceCheck the nozzle diameter every month, and replace it if it decreases by more than 10% (the nozzle model should match the equipment).
-
PrecautionsAvoid hitting the nozzle with hard objects to prevent deformation.
3. Electrical control cabinet
-
dailyKeep the cabinet door closed to prevent dust from entering.
-
maintenanceCheck the contacts of circuit breakers and contactors for erosion every quarter. If they oxidize, they need to be polished or replaced.
-
PrecautionsProhibit live operation, cut off the power supply and hang a warning sign before maintenance.
4、 Lubrication management
5、 Environmental control
-
moisture-proofThe equipment should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid long-term exposure to humid environments (relative humidity<75%).
-
dustproofCover the equipment with a dust cover to reduce dust from entering electrical cabinets or mechanical components.
-
anti-corrosionApply rust proof oil to exposed metal parts such as pump bodies and spray guns to prevent rusting.
6、 Fault handling
