Talk about the installation and maintenance of SEW gearbox
Date: 2024-12-24Read: 5
1、 Product Overview
SEW reducer is a device used for deceleration, which converts the high speed of a motor into low speed while providing higher torque output. This type of reducer is widely used in various fields such as industrial automation, steel, machinery, renewable energy, etc.
2、 Product Features
1. High transmission ratio: The SEW reducer achieves the purpose of deceleration by forming a high transmission ratio through the mutual meshing of two sets of helical gears inside.
2. High precision: The product adopts advanced manufacturing technology and precise assembly technology to ensure transmission accuracy and stability.
3. High rigidity: The casing, shaft, and bearings of the reducer are made of high-strength materials, which have high rigidity and load-bearing capacity.
4. Long life: Adopting high-quality lubrication system and sealing components to ensure that the gearbox can operate stably for a long time even under harsh working conditions.
3、 Installation and maintenance
Installation: The SEW reducer should be firmly installed on a stable horizontal foundation or base, and ensure that the oil in the oil drain groove can be discharged and the cooling air circulation is smooth. When installing transmission components, avoid using hammers to strike, and instead use assembly fixtures and internal threads on the shaft end to press the transmission components in with bolts. In addition, attention should be paid to the installation position and direction of the anti torque bracket.
Maintenance: The newly put into operation reducer has been injected with an appropriate amount of lubricating oil before leaving the factory. After running for a period of time (such as 200-300 hours), the first oil change should be carried out. Afterwards, the quality of the oil should be regularly checked, and any oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated should be replaced in a timely manner. For gearboxes that work continuously for a long time, it is recommended to replace the oil with new oil after running for 5000 hours or once a year. When changing the oil, wait for the gearbox to cool down and there is no risk of combustion, but still keep it warm because the viscosity of the oil increases after cooling, making it difficult to drain the oil.
