The common faults and solutions that may occur during the use of the torsion testing machine are as follows:
1、 Power and startup faults
No power indication, device does not start
Reason: Abnormal power supply voltage, blown fuse, poor switch contact, contactor failure, open coil, no output from power transformer.

Check if the power supply voltage is normal, replace the fuse or power cord.
Check whether the switch, contactor, and coil are damaged, and replace them if necessary.
Test the output of the power transformer. If the indicator light is damaged, replace it. If the connecting wire is open, re weld it. If the transformer is damaged, replace or re wind it.
The power switch indicator light is not on
Reason: Power switch malfunction, circuit disconnection or damage.

Measure the voltage with a multimeter and confirm if the switch power indicator light is on.
Check the internal wiring connections. If any detachment or damage is found, contact the manufacturer's after-sales service for repair.
2、 Hydraulic system malfunction
Serious oil leakage in the hydraulic system
Reason: The buffer valve, return valve, delivery valve, oil pump, and pipeline connections are not tightly sealed.

Add a pad at the connection and tighten the screw.
If the sealing gasket is damaged, disassemble and replace it with a copper or aluminum alloy gasket.
The oil pump and oil collector are not tightly pressed
Phenomenon: The load cannot increase during loading, and there is no oil flowing out of the return pipe of the oil delivery valve.

Tighten the fixing screws at the rear of the oil pump with a wrench.
If it still doesn't work, remove the oil collector and add a gasket between the oil collector and the pump body.
Insufficient fuel level in the fuel tank
Phenomenon: When loaded to a certain load, there is a "plop" sound in the return pipe of the oil delivery valve, with little oil output and bubbles, and the load cannot continue to rise.
Solution: Fill the fuel tank with oil until the oil level reaches half of the sight glass.
Abnormal viscosity of oil
Reason: Use oil with low viscosity.

Replace with medium viscosity mineral oil (free of water, acid, and other mixtures).
If necessary, use a viscosity meter to measure the viscosity of the oil to ensure compliance with requirements.
3、 Mechanical component failure
The clearance between the working piston and the oil cylinder is too large
Phenomenon: Excessive oil leakage in the gap can be observed from the oil overflow port.

Thicken the viscosity of the oil to reduce leakage.
If the problem is not resolved, contact the manufacturer to exchange the piston and cylinder after precise measurement.
The clearance between the force measuring piston and the force measuring cylinder is large
Phenomenon: When the tonnage is high, the lower part of the force measuring cylinder leaks oil (flowing out in a linear pattern).
Solution: Replace the force measuring piston and distinguish between joint oil leakage and cylinder plug oil leakage.
The motor of the movable crossbeam does not rotate
Reason: Open or short circuit of the position switch, phase failure of the motor, and damage to the motor.

Replace or repair the position switch, re weld and clean the controller.
Check the three-phase voltage of the motor, measure the DC resistance, and replace the motor if there is a phase failure.
4、 Control system malfunction
The upper and lower limits cannot be controlled
Reason: Position switch malfunction, open circuit connection, damaged contactor.

Check if the position switch is functioning properly. If there is no control voltage, re weld the connection wire from the power supply to the switch.
Check if the contactor is damaged and replace it if necessary.
The direction of the positional controller is opposite
Reason: Three phase phase connection error.
Solution: Adjust the three-phase phase sequence.
Software or parameter settings error
Phenomenon: The device cannot operate normally or the data is abnormal.

Check system logs and analyze error messages.
Ensure that the software system is at the latest version and reinstall it if necessary.
Reset the test parameters to ensure consistency with the experimental standards.
5、 Other faults
Counter has no display
Reason: The reed relay was damaged during transportation.
Solution: Remove the upper cover of the reducer and replace the damaged part with a spare dry spring relay.
Counter initial value setting error
Reason: The initial value was not set in the event of a power outage.
Solution: Reset the initial value of the counter in the power-off state.
