Maintenance and upkeep of single screw plastic granulator:
1. Impurities are not allowed in the material, and hard substances such as metal and sand should be strictly prevented from entering the hopper and barrel.
2. The preheating and heating time should be sufficient. Generally, after reaching the process set temperature, it should be kept at a constant temperature for fifteen minutes. Before driving, manually turning the pulley should be light and agile.
3. The screw is only allowed to start at low speed, and the idle time cannot exceed two minutes. The feeder can gradually increase the speed after feeding by starvation.

4. After 500 hours of operation, the new gearbox needs to be replaced with new oil. The oil quality should be checked regularly during future use. For oil mixed with impurities or aged and deteriorated, it must be replaced at any time. At the same time, the oil level should be checked regularly. If the oil level is lower than the specified height, it should be replenished in a timely manner. Starting from the second time, the gearbox should be replaced with oil every 3000 hours of operation.
5. The screw rod of the spiral lifting mechanism of the single screw plastic granulator has been filled with low-temperature lubricating grease before leaving the factory, and will be wiped and lubricated once a week thereafter.
When the main motor is a DC motor, the motor brush should be checked once a month, recorded, and replaced if necessary.
7. The electrical control cabinet should be purged once a month.
8. Check the wear of the screw and barrel of the single screw plastic granulator every quarter and keep records.
9. Check the gears, bearings, and oil seals of the gearbox once a year.

10. The single screw plastic granulator should be inspected daily, including the lubrication condition of each lubrication part, the temperature rise and noise of the bearings in each rotating part, the vibration of the unit, the current and voltage display of the motor and electric heater, the temperature of the lubricating cooling water, and the quality of the extruded product.
11. When the machine is shut down for a long time, measures should be taken to prevent rust and dirt.
