The hemocytometer is a commonly used cell counting tool, named for counting red blood cells, white blood cells, and other microorganisms in medicine. It is also commonly used to calculate the number of bacteria, fungi, yeast, and other microorganisms. It is a common biological tool.
[Instructions for Use]
1. Each cell counting plate is individually packaged in a plastic card case. When using, remove the product from the card case and check if the model and specifications printed on the counting plate are correct;
2. Mirror inspection counting cell: Before adding samples, perform mirror inspection on the counting cell of the counting plate. If there is any dirt, it needs to be cleaned and dried before counting can be carried out;
3. Sample addition: Cover the counting cell of a clean and dry blood cell counting plate with a dedicated cover glass, use a pipette to draw diluted test samples (such as blood or microbial suspensions), drop them onto the edge of the cover glass, let the test solution slowly infiltrate, and fill the counting cell at once to prevent the generation of bubbles. The amount of test solution filled should not exceed the rectangular edge between the counting cell table and the cover glass. Excess test solution can be suctioned off with filter paper;
4. Counting: Wait for a moment (about 5 minutes), after all the cells in the test solution have settled to the bottom of the counting pool, place the counting plate on the stage, first find the position of the counting chamber under a low magnification mirror, then switch to a high magnification mirror for observation, counting, and recording.
【 Precautions 】
Before taking the sample solution from the test tube for counting, gently shake the tube a few times to ensure even distribution;
If there are too many quantities in a small square to count clearly, dilution is required;
3. Counting a sample requires calculating the average value obtained from two counting chambers, and each sample can be counted up to three timesNext, take the average;
4. When counting, the focal length should be adjusted from time to time in order to observe samples at different depths;
5. Rinse with tap water after use and air dry or blow dry with a hair dryer;
6. Do not use cell counting plates that have exceeded their expiration date;
