Three roll calenderIntroduction:
It is a machine composed of three cylindrical rollers with a diameter of 200-300 millimeters that can cool and adjust the speed of each point of the board to ensure its flatness.
The sheet extruded from the flat machine head has a high temperature and is gradually cooled by calendering. At the same time, it also plays a certain traction role, adjusting the speed of each point of the board to be consistent, ensuring the flatness of the board.
Not a rolling mill, its structure is not as sturdy as the latter. Sheet metal forming mainly relies on machine head forming, not oncalenderRoll the board into thin sheets or plates, otherwise the three rollers will deform and be damaged.
Composed of three cylindrical rollers with a diameter of 200-300 millimeters, the rollers are hollow inside. To facilitate the reflux of heating and cooling media, baffles can be installed, as shown in Figure 7-15. The length of the roller should be slightly larger than the width of the machine head, and the surface of the roller should be chrome plated with a smoothness of ▽ 10 or above. The diameter of the roller cannot be less than 200 millimeters, otherwise it will be difficult to install heating and cooling devices inside the roller. Increasing the diameter of the roller can increase the wrapping time of the board, resulting in a better surface finish. However, the roller diameter is too large, occupying a large area and making it difficult to install the transmission system. At the same time, the linear speed of the extruded board is small. If the roller diameter is large, a complex and large transmission speed control system is required. Therefore, the roller diameter generally does not exceed 300 millimeters.
Three roll calenderThe distance between the three roll machine and the machine head should be as close as possible, usually 5-10 centimeters. The three roller traction speed is slightly 10-25% faster than the extrusion line speed, which can eliminate wrinkles and reduce internal stress in the board. If the distance between the three rollers and the machine head is too large, the board is prone to sagging, wrinkling, poor smoothness, and easy heat dissipation and cooling.
