A spring balancer is an important tool for improving work efficiency. When its internal spring fails, replacing it yourself can save costs. Please make sure to disconnect the power or isolate the gas source before operation to ensure safety.

Dismantling and preparation: Firstly, remove the balancer from the workstation or bracket and place it flat on a clean workbench. Using a suitable hex wrench or screwdriver, carefully unscrew the fixing screws of the housing, and then gently separate the housing to expose the internal core structure.

Remove the old spring: The core part usually consists of a coil spring box and a pivot shaft. Pay attention to the fixing method of the spring end (which may be a hook or slot). Slowly release the residual preload force and do not let it suddenly pop open. Recording the winding direction and fixing point position of the spring is crucial for installing a new spring. Then carefully remove the tired or broken old spring.

Install a new spring: Accurately install a brand new spring with the same model and specifications into the coil spring box according to the recorded winding direction and fixing method. Ensure that both ends of the spring are securely fixed to the corresponding slots or shafts. This process requires patience and meticulousness to avoid spring distortion.

Assembly and testing: After confirming that the installation is correct, close the housing again and tighten all screws.
