(1) When the nut is positioned at high bearing speeds and subjected to significant axial loads, the end face of the nut in contact with the inner ring of the bearing should be perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Otherwise, even if the nut is tightened, it will damage the installation position and normal working condition of the bearing, reducing the rotational accuracy and service life of the bearing. Especially when the fit between the bearing inner hole and the shaft is loose fit, strict control is needed. In order to prevent the nut from loosening during rotation, appropriate technical measures to prevent loosening need to be taken. Using a nut and a stop washer for positioning, insert the key teeth inside the stop washer into the keyway of the shaft, and then bend one of the teeth on the outer ring into the notch of the nut.
(2) When the axial load on the bearing is not significant, the speed is not high, the shaft is short, and it is difficult to machine threads on the shaft neck, a rectangular elastic retaining ring can be used for positioning the spring retaining ring. This method is very convenient for loading and unloading, occupies a small space, and is easy to manufacture.
(3) When the thrust washer is located on a short shaft neck, it is difficult to process the shaft neck into threads, and the bearing speed is high and the axial load is large, washer positioning can be used. That is, two or more screws are used to position the washer on the shaft end face, and a stop washer or wire is used to tighten it to prevent loosening.
(4) The fixed sleeve positioning bearing has a low rotational speed and can withstand stable radial loads and small axial loads. The self-aligning roller bearing can be installed on the optical axis with the help of a tapered fixed sleeve. Tighten the nut and stop washer for positioning. Use the frictional force of the nut lock to position the bearing.
(5) When installing bearings with tapered inner holes on tapered shafts, it is necessary to check the axial load and tighten the shaft and bearing. Therefore, attention should be paid to the directionality of the tapered inner hole during installation. If the bearing is located at the shaft end and can be machined into threads at the shaft end, it can be directly positioned with a nut. If the bearing is not installed on the shaft end and threading is not allowed on the shaft. (2) When the speed of the threaded ring positioning bearing is high and the axial load is large, and it is not suitable for using end cap positioning, threaded ring positioning can be used for radial bearings and thrust bearings, which can be used to adjust the axial clearance of the bearing.
(3) The positioning method of elastic gear ring occupies a small axial position, is easy to install and disassemble, is simple to manufacture, and is suitable for bearing small axial loads. Add an adjusting ring between the bearing and the spring to facilitate adjusting the axial position.
(4) Deep groove ball bearings with stop grooves on the outer ring of the bearing can be positioned using stop rings. When the stop shoulder cannot be machined in the housing hole due to limitations in conditions, or when the component must be reduced in contour size, this type is selected


Installation steps
Before installing the bearing on the shaft, it is necessary to first remove the fixing pin of the bearing sleeve, polish the surface of the shaft neck smooth and clean, and apply oil to the shaft neck for rust prevention and lubrication (allowing the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).

4. Install the eccentric sleeve.
