Formaldehyde in the air is absorbed by weakly acidic absorption solution in the absorption chamber, and after gas-liquid separation, it reacts with acetylacetone solution in the reaction chamber to generate fluorescent products under heating conditions DDL (3,5-diacetyl-1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethylpyridine) can produce fluorescence under the excitation of LED lights. According to Lambert Beer's law, the fluorescence intensity is proportional to the formaldehyde content. By processing the fluorescence signal, the formaldehyde concentration can be calculated.
