MTL Surge Protector IOP32Introduction

The IOP series is designed to provide protection for both digital I/O and analog I/O. It is an economical I/O surge protection solution in Eaton products. The high packaging density, high protection level, and low price make the IOP series a popular solution.
The IOP series is not only cost-effective, but also retains a hybrid circuit consisting of 20kA gas discharge tubes and solid-state components. In terms of design, this impressive product has very low line resistance, thus only adding a small voltage drop in the circuit.
The detachable terminals of the IOP series are easy to install and maintain, and the circuit can also be disconnected by unplugging the terminals on the module side. The angle of the wire entry helps with wiring inside the confined space of the enclosure.
