It is composed of a multi turn electric actuator and a flange gate valve, mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. It is not suitable for regulating the flow rate of the medium. The electric flange gate valve is suitable for a wide range of pressure, temperature, and diameter, especially for medium and large diameter pipelines. The main advantages of electric flange gate valves are as follows:
(1)The fluid resistance is small, and the internal medium channel of the gate valve body is straight through. When the medium flows through the gate valve, its flow direction does not change, so the flow resistance is small.
(2)Opening and closing are relatively effortless. When opening and closing, the direction of the gate movement is perpendicular to the direction of the medium flow. Compared with globe valves, gate valves are more effortless to open and close.
(3)The direction of medium flow is generally not restricted. The medium can flow in any direction from both sides of the gate valve, achieving the purpose of connection or disconnection. Easy to install, suitable for pipelines where the flow direction of the medium may change.
